Australia Post - Palm Cove LPO

More than a Post Office. Teresa and Glen go over and beyond customer service, they are absolute gems. Had my PO box in Palm Cove for 11 years but rarely used it. Then we opened a branch in Cairns and the mail ramped up. Once i order a coffee around the corner whiz over at 9am, grab mail and also great place for gift cards and stationary. Glen is also a Commissioner for Declarations so that is handy too. An Icon in Palm Cove!

At Xmas we must surely commend Glen and Theresa for their great work!! I fondly remember Glen, when as a small boy he used to throw rocks at cows and eat magic mushrooms on the northern beaches, often skipping school…….keep fighting the good fight team, and Glen, please dump St George…..

Staff at this post office are extremely lovely. Never had an issue with delivering mail to this post office. If you prefer a more personal experience, i highly recommended this post office.

This post office's wonderful service is executed by friendly and helpful staff. They are willing to help tourists navigate the Cairns area and always have time to chat with the locals.

Worst thing about living in Palm Cove is the Palm Cove PO. If you ever get a parcel sent to this PO and you work full-time in town you'll never get to pick it up due to the opening hours. Only open 2 hours on weekend, you have to battle tourists on the Esplanade road and for parking due to the location. If possible, get your parcel sent to Clifton Beach PO - better parking, on a main road and longer opening hours.
