Cottages On Mount View

My stay at Cottages on Mount View was absolutely delightful! Jannene and Brett, the hosts, were incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout my visit. The cabins were well-equipped and cozy, with private spas and fireplaces that added an extra touch.

The atmosphere at the property was serene and peaceful, making it the perfect place to unwind. I particularly enjoyed lounging in the hammock while watching the Australian native animals wander around the property.

The location was fantastic, with Mount View wineries just a stone's throw away and major wineries only a 20-minute drive.

Overall, my weekend at Cottages on Mount View was everything I could have hoped for and more.

I recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in the Hunter Valley!

Spent a couple of nights here recently. The owners have really nailed the basics: great location, well laid out cabins, fun spa and amazing peace and tranquillity.

Where they really shine was the little things. We arrived a bit later in the evening and they had turned the cabin lights on for us, the fireplace was pre-made and ready to go with the lighting of a match & the breakfast hamper was generous not to mention delicious.
It's these little things that make you think they really care about being great hosts. Can't wait to go back.

We stayed in the two bedroom cottages with spa & what a delight is was.
The breakfast basket was plentiful & managed to use it for two mornings & used some for dinner.
We bellbirds are a delight to listen to & the one time possum visit, you really feel you are away from all the hustle & bustle, however it is close to the vineyard...win win for us. I love visiting the "Hanging Tree" but will be sure to try out the "Petersons" Estate next time.

Stayed here for a long weekend and Owners were fab. They were great with my toddler, she loved the chickens! Hot tub was perfection. Great proximity to Pokolbin, with some yum food places in Cessnock too.

Overall a really nice stay, beautiful surrounds and would definitely recommend!

We loved every minute of our weekend stay at cottages on mount view. Our hosts Jannene and Brett were amazing, going above and beyond, even giving us a lift to our half day wine tour pickup location! We will definitely be back and can’t wait to stay here again! Would definitely recommend.

We absolutely loved Cottages on Mount View! Jannene and Brett were the perfect hosts. The cottages were beautiful and the setting was absolutely magic! Will definitely be recommending this to all my friends and will be coming back here for sure!

A fantastic place to get away from it all. Easy bus to Bimbadgen Estate (just book ahead). The outdoor spa under the trees is great (a few hooks for towels would be the only improvement I could suggest!, tough I know!). BBQ on the deck, coffee machine and a breakfast hamper. Great for a couple or a group. Don't expect the most modern hotel room, instead take a book and relax in the hammock. Very unique.

Quiet and relaxing. Cabin was set up beautifully with everything we needed in the kitchen and a comfy bed. Birds all around and very peaceful. We will definitely return

Stayed for a concert weekend and the cottages are very nicely prepared, quiet and clean. Comfy furniture and well stocked kitchen for us to prepare meals. Lovely hosts and really couldn’t ask for more.

Second time here, loved it! Sitting out in the cold in a hottub is awesome, but even more so here due to the amount of birdlife in the area, particularly the colony of bellbirds.
Cabins are clean, and has everything you need, including a wood fire.

Exactly what my partner and I needed... and more! The cottage had everything you could need and the spa bath was definately worth it. Even in the winter chill!

The breakfast basket upon arrival was fantastic and the complimentary shiraz was a lovely warming welccome!

Officially my favourite place to stay in the Hunter valley. Cabins are surrounded by beautiful views of the forest and wild life. Nothing more relaxing than having a drink or two in your private hot tub

Beautiful place to stay while visiting Hunter Valley. Owners are lovely and the cottage was perfect for a two night stay. Note that you likely won't have any mobile reception while here.

We had an incredible time staying at the Cottages on Mount View!! The owners were super inviting and friendly. The trip was absolutely fantastic!

Very friendly welcome from John, and a very welcome stay. No wifi. No phone signal. No stress. Sat in the hot tub, with a bottle of sparkling and all your worries fade away.

Loved our stay here!! Clean, comfortable, amazing spa and kitchen had everything we needed. We will be back for sure.
