Beautiful hike. I recommend bringing a swim suit to swim at the bottom! Be sure to do the hike clockwise. Took my mom and I 2 hours. Isn’t super strenuous, pretty moderate. Definitely recommend this hike. Waterfall is like none other this close to the gc!

Such an awesome walk! After living in WA for a while, it was great to see such tall trees and so many different plants! The falls were spectacular with quite a bit of water going over them!

Epic spot, the walk down to the base of the falls is moderate and has some great stop off points. Wildlife in abundance. Best in clockwise direction in my opinion. Go early for less touristy crowds

Be prepared for a long walk. Approximately 1 hour down and 1 hour getting back up. Wear your sneakers and take a bottle of water. The waterfall is so beautiful and worth the time and energy you spend. Enjoy!

Stunning 4.5km loop walk through the hinterland bush. Saw lots of birds and wildlife and soaked in the majestic scenery and peace. The bottom of the falls has a swimming hole and is just incredible.

It's a relatively easy hike with stairs. We wouldn't consider ourselves cardio heavy people and found it easy. Saw lots of children around 5 years old doing it. If you have mobility issues maybe not for you. Trail can be muddy. The waterfall was beautiful and refreshing on a hot day. Bring bug spray

Absolutely beautiful location for a picnic under the pavilion, toilet stop them off for the walk to the falls. There's 2 lookout vantage points (walk from one side to the other) and a lovely mini falls between them. I always recommend mid week if you can to minimise the crowds. Saw quite a few potaroos and a quoll in the bushes plus a huge black lizard. Sadly didn't see or hear any Yowies 😭🤣👊.

Highly recommend this hike. As someone who grew up locally, Purling Brook falls is honestly one of the harder hikes to do in terms of reaching the waterfall base, but it's worth the trip.

The trail meanders through stunning nature, allowing you to take in the diverse native subtropical flora and maybe even a sighting of a few birds, blue tongue lizards or land mullets!

You get gorgeous views over the range and there's periodic watering holes filled with fresh, cool mountain water to keep you feeling comfortable on your trek.

I'd highly recommend this hike for anyone looking at experiencing quintessential Gold Coast Hinterland natural beauty.

Nice easy hike through a beautiful forest. Great view from the look out. Bush Turkeys are around the park. We saw a large one and half meter python at the look out, very cool. Plenty of parking and not very busy, which was nice. Worth a visit.

The best walk I've been on did the purling Brook circle. The view is something else. Plus, I had the opportunity to see a koala.

Fantastic hike and one of the best waterfalls around. Some effort to drive up and around a 1.5-2hr loop trail. Worth the effort!

Allow 90mins to complete the circuit or longer if you intend to swim at the rockpool. Some stairs to navigate but the flat stretches in between make it pretty manageable. Path is well sheltered from the sun.

Absolutely amazing experience! Even when it was raining, we stayed in, played games and had a fire inside. If you’re looking for the perfect weekend away to unwind and disconnect this is the place! The markets were beautiful and a stunning little girl who was only 10 was singing! The fudge shop is to die for! The coffee at all places up there is incredible. We stayed in a little Yurt, and it was an unforgettable experience

The most magnetic waterfall I have seen so far. There are trees on the path which I would estimate to be 40+ meters tall and hundreds of years old.
Two main tracks, a 2 hour and a 6 hour loop. Very well maintained, signed and almost fully paved by rocks.
There are toilets at the trail heads and some picnic seats and spots. Plenty of parking if you're early.

What a magical place 🙏🏻

I went last weekend with my partner, I don’t have the best physical condition but the track was very great, being in there in the nature and find the bottom of the waterfall was just amazing 😊

We stumbled across this spectacular location today, after visiting the Natural Arch. I've seen some falls, and vista's in my time, but this place beats them all. If the view of the falls isn't enough, the valley's expance across ancient forest is mind blowing... we didn't walk the 2 hr loop track, only cheating to glimpse the falls, but have vowed to return one day to complete the trip.
