Great hire shop. We are inexperienced snow goers, these guys have consistently put us in the right place with the right gear to have fun, be safe and know the rules that impact us. It's great to leave the wet gear behind instead of having to cart it around the country until we get home.
The must have items when going to the snow are chains (legal requirements) and because we don't always have the same car with us it's better to hire than buy sizes for which ever car we take.

Just visiting to play in the snow at Selwyn and Kiandra. Not much snow early winter, but these guys were available and very helpful. Took 7 taboggans and 7 pairs of boots for 48 hours. Very good price. 😍

Wasn't at the shop at the hours stated, but did respond immediately by email and someone came around quickly. And despite a late drop, no late fees!!

We had such great experience at GPO, amazing team, extremely friendly and helpful. We went for our first snow ever and we had no idea what we could do. Without the most needed help from GPO team, we would not have enjoyed our trip at all.
Now this destination is in our list of best destinations and certainly planning to have another vacation there.

We were there just last Saturday (July 9, 2022) to borrow some gear. Even returned it in the evening as the owner was happy to meet us too on their shop even if it was closed.

This is the best spot to rent ski gear before Selwyn, Perisher or Thredbo! Very reasonably priced, good quality gear, friendly and helpful staff members and great tips on where to go! Highly recommended.

Great service. Rented snow shoes and car (snow) chains from this place. Decent prices. Stuart was a lovely guy. He even guided us to the right places to see for snow.

Perfect place to stop and get snow gear for a day of fun in the snow. They had everything we needed, were super helpful and a great price. Loved being able to use their pants, jackets and boots so that the kids were warm and didn't get cold, wet or miserable. Toboggans were great and we had a lot of fun.

They take the time to care and make sure you are happy with their hire service. Even have a coffee while waiting. Highly recommend them.

Very helpful, toboggans were heaps of fun at 3 mile dam carpark. Snow shoeing was like hiking but in the snow, saw some beautiful snowscapes.

Well located on the way to Mt Selwyn. Appears to be family run, all staff were extremely helpful, and friendly. The family pack with clothes, shoes and chains was great value.

Nice enough to let us in to make us coffee on a Sunday. Great coffee too. Plenty of local knowledge as well.
