The Snowy Store (Talbingo Supermarket)

Thank you Kylie for cooking me a wonderful lunch today. I ordered the burger with the lot and that is exactly what was served...it had the lot. All fresh ingredients and was packed full of flavour. Served with delicious crinkle cut chips. Coffee was very good too.

When we arrived we were greeted and welcomed in at the door. We were given great recommendations on what to see in the area. The hospitality and kindness made my day.
The pies are a must try! The chunky beef pie was the best pie I've ever had. Definitely worth a visit!

Kylie was very kind. We were camping at the Caravan Park nearby and needed to restock the groceries before heading to the remote parts of Snowy Mnt. It would be 2 weeks before we could have access to any shops. Kylie kindly offered to pick up whatever we needed in Tumut for us when she or Kevin did the buying for the shop. Her Beef curry pie was scrumptious, with great quality and quantity filling and reasonably priced for the size of it. Top customer service.

We were staying at a campground nearby and had to get some paperwork printed so we could sign it and send away. Kylie was so helpful and printed it for us. It was so nice to chat with her whilst she did it. Very lovely and helpful.

Amazing , delicious toasted sandwiches, heaps of filling, coffee was excellent and service was 10/10. Call into beautiful Talbinga for a pit stop, delicious, generous bite to eat, hospitality, walk, take in the amazing scenery, you won't want to leave.

Stopped in at the Coffee/ Supermarket in Talbingo and had the best Chai Latte with a superb caramel slice which was gluten free and had dessicated coconut in the base. Very reasonably priced. We were camping nearby and the owners Kylie and Kelvin were kind enough to specially order us sourdough bread while we were there for the week. Talbingo is a beautiful town and the free camping at Jounama CK or on Blowering Lake is wonderful while in town the caravan park was most comfortable and well run.

The place to go if you are hungry as the burgers are huge! And the coffee is great too.
Also if you need supplies they have everything

Popped in to get some snacks for our campsite and was in DIRE need of motor oil. Kylie let us know that unfortunately they didn’t have any in stock at the time but she called her friend who was in town to see if they could bring some down for us. After an hour or so of amazing hospitality (Kylie was showing us some cool camp spots around the area and nice swimming spots), her friend popped in with motor oil for us 💗 if not for Kylie and her friend we would have been stranded!!! Kylie also gave us her number in case anything happens whilst we were camping. Thank you so much Kylie so lovely meeting such a wonderful person!

Called in for yoghurt and ended up staying for dinner. Such a lovely surprise.
Super friendly, great service, outdoor seating with beautiful views and honest, yummy, good value food. Definitely worth a visit.

Stumbling upon the The Snowy Store and meeting Kylie and Kevin was a fantastic surprise. Kylie took the time to ensure we felt welcomed and provided many great local tips to ensure we enjoyed our short stay in Talbingo. Their hospitality was beyond amazing and the food was reasonably priced and very well portioned. We had to revisit the next morning for coffee and breakfast. Highly recommend!

Had a great time staying in Jounama Creek and visited the general store many times the owners Kevin and Kylie are lovely people and do great coffee and have everything you would need in the store. The pizzas are delicious as good as you would get anywhere and if there available you must try. Thanks for your hospitality Kevin and Kylie hope to see you again sometime.

The food the service was excellent the lady working on Thursday was by herself and busy but food and coffee came out hot and the breakfast buger was delicious 😋

Great shop , often saves me a long expensive drive into town to get essentials.

Had a burger with the lot and chips for $21.00 on Sunday. It was very much a ghost town, however I scored an awesome feed I couldn’t even finish it was so big!

Great coffee, so good we went out of our way 3 times on our trip to get coffee's here, the owners are up for a chat and very honest, we were accidentally over charged for a hat, we didn't notice but the owner picked it up straight away and refunded our money , he even carried our wood to the car.

Kevin & Kylie at the general store are so welcoming and happy to answer all my questions before arriving on our first family snow holiday with our boys and friends. The hospitality they showed us was incredible, so warm and friendly. Thank you for everything, we will be back!

I would say great costomer service, but I didnt even feel like a costomer. I felt like a friend. Thanks to Kevin and Kylie, we know where the locals are catching the fish!

The food was delicious, with big portions and home made tar tar sauce that hit every taste bud I got (in a good way).

Great variety of take away food, including home cooked dinners made with love. Well stocked general merchandise, everything you might need for camping trips, gifts and everyday items. Service with a smile and friendly chat.

It's a lovely little supermarket it has everything you need from fish chips , nice coffee , general store, post office , botello and great staff always ready to help and get a jar of TALBINGO PURE HONEY YOU WONT BUY ANY OTHER HONEY AFTER YOU TASTE IT
