Went above and beyond for the circumstances as had covid and accepted us as a large group was very pleasant would recommend the stop off lunch starts at 1230

Great little country pub.
Thoroughly enjoyed having a few drinks and watching the world go by.
Food was nice and came out extremely quick. Garlic prawns were great as was the pizza. Quick note for the owners Give your staff the motto ‘time to lean, time to clean’ lots of cobwebs, bugs and general grubbiness that could be addressed in the ample time between serving people.

The Sunday lunch was great. Very friendly staff.

One of the highlights of our trip. Food was excellent, very nice local wine, friendly staff. We loved every minute there. Special thanks to Linda and Matt, thank you very much for your hospitality and thank you for sharing your story with us. We will be back.

Matt and Linda were great. 7 of us arrived on bikes looking for accommodation and they sorted us out with no fuss. As it was Anzac day they were going to close at 3pm but stayed open till late for us and even cooked up some pizza for us. Would highly recommend these guys.

My husband Glen and I stayed for 2 nights during Easter. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Lovely warm atmosphere and meals were fantastic. Comfortable bed and good assortment of breakfast options in a well equiped tea room with everything you need, also set up for relaxing. We'd definately stay again soon! I’ve stayed for over two weeks while working away. Best beds I’ve had since I started working away. Food is great, some of the best pizza I’ve had. Matt and Linder are great. Very welcoming and nice place to stay with friendly locals at the bar in the afternoon. Over all it’s a great place despite what keyboard warriors say. Cheers

A great old pub with very friendly locals and owners. Mark will make you feel at home in this pub that is over 100 years old.

During my almost 30 years of travelling throughout Australia, I would almost call myself a conossuire of Country Pubs.😊

This one blew me away!!!

The moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with a smile and that continued on throughout my entire stay.

My room upstairs was so lovely, I could sit by the window all night and stare at all the stars forever.

The Food is absolutely sensational, fresh produce shone through on everything that was eaten.

Ice cold beers go down an absolute treat, especially in the laidback beer garden... Oh The View!!!

But what top's it off for Me is the atmosphere, the locals who made Me feel so incredibly welcome and to sit with the Publicans and have a great chat will stick with Me for a long time.

It took Me 5 hours to get to this incredible Country Pub...
It's now stuck with Me for life.. I will be back!

I highly recommend going to the Batlow hotel if you're in the area or passing through. We had dinner here twice during our short stay in Batlow, it was great!
The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food, drinks, service and atmosphere was amazing.

Made a quick decision to stay here whilst waiting for the snow to hit! Comfortable warm room! AMAZING food!!! And the dogs and bird just topped it off for me! Beautiful atmosphere and would highly recommend it! Thanx for having us!

O.M.G. Took a drive up your way today to support the local businesses following the bushfires. Why have we never stopped here before??? The food is outstanding and the atmosphere is so relaxing. Beautiful. If I could give it 10 stars I would! Whoever the chef is, double their wage!

Came through Batlow by chance today, feeling hungry. Walking into the Batlow Hotel on a whim we expected just a standard bar meal. Well, we were taught a lesson! The food here was scrumptious!!
We sat in the yard and it felt relaxed and comfy for the kids to have a play whilst we waited.
So glad we came.

This is the best pub in Australia, if you want a good quality beer that'll quench your thirst in 3 seconds flat, you'll wanna come to the Batlow hotel. Come in and talk to the friendly bar tenders that love having a chat with you over the bar.X They'll serve schooners to you for the cheap price of $6.00, if ya wanna come down to the Batlow Hotel be sure to ask about the local attractions and the friendly staff will tell you all about the fun things to do around the Batlow area. Its an absolute must visit pub, whether you're travelling and are interested in going to a good local publican venue, with great food at their bistro, and a great community vibe, or just want a decent pub to drink at with some of your mates, you'll wanna go to the Batlow Hotel.

The bar staff were polite and friendly, food was fast and delicious! Thanks to Linda and all the rest for making us feel so welcome!

I can't say much for the pub, however the Hawaiian pizza from the pioneer bistro was absolutely delicious, staff was nice too !
