My favourite supplier of the cleanest freshest healthiest King Salmon which comes from New Zealand. It’s such a shame that the landed price in Sydney has increased so much in recent years.
Nigri here is also the tastiest with their secret sauce & charred finish.

Great value for freshly cooked seafood. Service is good and friendly. The only downside maybe the choice of noodles that goes with the lobster. Pretty strange texture. But this is coming from an Asian, taste is very subjective.

Overall a great experience.

The lobster roll, aburi scallops and crab legs were delicious! I didn’t try any of the raw seafood but I will be back to try it. I was mesmerised by all the seafood.

The servings are huge! A box for 2 can serve at least 3. Get the set meal as they have a good variety like lobster, prawns and squid. Eat outdoors but be careful of seagulls!

Very fresh seafood that is cooked to order. Highly recommend as a lunch stop while in Sydney. Be aware that it is very busy and seating is limited.

We came to the fish market looking for some good quality seafood. At Peter's we bought super fresh tuna, crab leg, scallop and salmon sushi.

It was superb quality sushi, with the sauces perfectly matching the various proteins, which were treated with great respect.

It was à good as any sushi as we have had anywhere on our travels. Excellent sushi.

Got to the Sydney Fish market pretty early on a Tuesday and it was not busy at all. Actually nice and quiet.

Got the sea urchin (uni) with roe and it was so good. So fresh and sweet. Would recommend

Located in the heart of Sydney Fish Market. Open 7 days per week & open everyday except Christmas Day. The store has over 100 species of seafood, a sushi & sashimi bar, a freshly shucked oyster bar, their famous aburi scallop station and the kitchen, which offers ready to eat and cook to order specialties. Reasonable prices for all food items. Friendly staff.

Seafood from Aburi section and Fried section. The salt and pepper calamari was awesome, nice and lightly fried. The garlic butter lobster was great, fresh and tasty.
The crab legs was great, fresh and nicely flamed. The scallop with cheese and rice was hit the kids.

They do more than this, but this is my must have everytime I visit the fish market. The king crab legs are my favourite!

As part of the fish market experience, we wanted to eat fresh seafood at the open dining area.

We were told to go to Peter’s Sydney fish market and it did not disappoint! We got fresh sushi and aburi (torched sushi) with scallops, tuna and salmon. The freshness was unparalleled and the sauce on the aburi was both sweet and savoury.

We also went to Peter’s aburi stand that offered flame seared scallops, lobster rolls and crab legs (10/10, highly recommended). The seafood was topped with sweet and savoury soy sauce with cheese. Then it was torched, giving a nice flame sear on the seafood. It was so flavourful and rich but also fresh.

In addition to the above, we also got baked lobster that was topped with a creamy bechamel sauce.

Outside, due to the holidays, the seating area was packed. But we were lucky to get a table by the water. There were a lot of seagulls but they were not bothersome when we were there.

I didn’t see any stand that offers table water so I recommend to bring your own water bottle.

Eating at Peter’s was one of our Sydney highlights and we look forward to go back next time!

First time trying a lobster roll :)
Bf recommended and it was worth the wait (be conscious of your parking time if you don’t wanna go over the certain $$ limit 😂.. I was there around 1:00pm on Saturday. Waited approx. 35 mins - 15 mins line up + 20 mins till food ready)

If you don’t like saucy food like me, ask for no sauce (they seem to put on two types of sauce otherwise + fish roe on the top). Lobster filling is already seasoned.

I expected the bun to have a baguette-like texture (cuz it looked hard) but it was very very soft :).

Scallops had rice with them. I enjoyed these too..

Gonna eat again in my next visit to the fish market.

Fresh seafood that can be cooked to order. The sign is a little small, but they have many sauces and styles to choose from and charge $15/kg.

We also got the box of sashami. They charged $1.5 for soy sauce which seems a little excessive.

Live and fresh seafood. Staffs were friendly and helpful. The price of the seafood is reasonable but have to pay extra AUD 15 if u want they cook it for you (per kg and per cooking style). They have picnic area at the back and it was just nice to seat and had the lunch there.

We ordered the sashimi - REALLY FRESH and hand cut on the spot which I love. Assorted sushis - THIS WAS GOOD TOO!! Aburi salmon and tuna was my favourite. Grilled (?) Fire flamed (?) scallop was okay…. Although it was in-front and attractive, but don’t think it live up to my expectations. The cheese wasn’t melted enough and the rice at the bottom was like huh. Anyway, I had a good experience coming here. Would do it again for the sashimi.

The food is good. Wide varieties of food. Delicious meals. The seating place is comfortable only if the birds would not or could not come and steal your food!
The birds are really daring. Even you are seated at your table, they will still come forward until you have to shooo them away with your hand.
That's really disturbing while you are trying to enjoy the nice seafood.
Hence, try secure a seat inside instead of along the water.
Overall, its a nice restaurant. Food is fresh.Staff is helpful and friendly.

Had the expensive pacific oysters, they were big, thick, juicy and fresh. The lobster tail was a let down. Uni and salmon sushi were great. Pay for the good stuff.

The quality and selection is world class. Don't forget to check out the shops that are out in the parking lot, including the beef and meat shop.
