Henry On Eighth

Had a lovely evening here celebrating a birthday. Burgers were fantastic, great choice of wines, and a really interesting looking selection of small sharing plates on offer (though we haven't tried any yet, we're assured by friends that they're great). Admittedly the fries were too salty, but once we pointed it out they agreed and took them off the bill, so that was well handled. They've got a selection of board games to play, and it's a great atmosphere. We'll be back for sure.

We were lucky enough to DJ at Henry On Eighth fairly recently for a private event. We found it to be a very cute venue with friendly staff. We look froward to our next experience there :)

Super cosy little place in Maylands. The atmosphere is really cool and the food is delightful. Great drinks list. Indoor and outdoor seating. Will definitely be returning!

We had my Mum’s 60th Birthday party at our beloved local Henry on 8th. Steve and all the staff went above and beyond to ensure the party was a raging success. The food was AMAZING. Steve created a signature cocktail for the night. We couldn’t have been happier ❤

Consistently tasty food, cosy ambience, and attentive, welcoming staff. The cocktails are definitely worth checking out as is the ever-changing selection of beers. A real highlight of Maylands and WA bars in general.

What’s not to like. Attentive Owner, friendly Staff and terrific Ambiance for drinks & bites. Went on a Friday night. The live music was fantastic! Johnny Cash stuff. Will be back again!

This place was fantastic from the decor to the staff. It felt like the staff truly wanted us to have an excellent time and it's so rare to see that kind of passion in people.
I had the french toast with strawberries, caramelised banana, coffee mascarpone and peanut butter. Absolutely stunning to look at and even tastier than it looks!

The absolute best local bar. It's run by Maylands locals and really shows what the community is all about. Usually has a great wine list and they are very dog friendly.

Fantastic coffee and funky atmosphere. Brunch is a must at this tavern come cafe!

Nice little bar for a quiet drink, bight to eat or casual catch up with friends. The staff are all friendly, knowledgeable, good for a chat and the new chef is going to be great. Drop in for a beer or glass of wine and say hey.

We had our work Christmas do here, lovely little place in maylands - hidden gem! The building used to be a movie theatre, the art and statues were definitely a topic of conversation, the owner is welcoming and friendly, the food was just divine! Water misters over the tables by the street. Nice on a hot day! Inside, outside & upstairs dining, the upstairs part is very spacious yet cosy and aesthetically pleasing - very funky little place! Toilets were very clean too, which are upstairs, a little steep but there's a rail to hold onto after you've had a few drinks :)
Definitely go check it out! You won't be disappointed!

Always an enjoyable place to be. The staff are interested in their patrons, and genuinely want to provide a range of options. I've come with a group of friends and soaked up the good feelings. Have come on my own and relaxed in the atmosphere / bumped into friends as you do in the good locals. Great tunes, always something different on offer. Lovely drinks and delicious food. Tuesday nights are fab.

Quiet place for a drink on a Tuesday night. Great service, friendly and relaxing. Didn't eat so I can't rate the food this time.

Absolutely beautiful food, hat off to the chef. Didn’t take long for food to come out and service was great, definitely recommend Henry’s on eighth!

Always a great local spot for a beer and a meal deal. Last night's Parmi was spot on and great value for 18 bucks!
