I had my partners surprise birthday here on the weekend, the staff were super helpful and made it easy, made it a awesome day.
The space has a awesome feel to it and the selection of beers with the list of cocktails makes The Big Easy a must visit for the area.

Great bar and great location. On busy Stanley st this place is nestled within the local Darlinghurst restaurant hub with on street parking if you get there early enough

Drinks are generous and atmosphere great

Would recommend a visit next time you’re in the area.

Very attentive staffs, reasonably priced drinks, complex yet accessible flavours of cocktails. Hearty foods (sorry no photo as i have munched all). Highly recommend to pay a visit

The Big Easy is a great place for drinks, food, and good vibes!

Definitely get the Pineapple Express cocktail or a pint of Lagunitas IPA. Live music on Sunday’s are really fun here. I would recommend this bar as a great place to meet friends or coworkers for drinks.

Legendary New Orleans themed bar, some really nice cocktails! Doug and Merlin and the team really know how to look after everyone while keeping a fun and chilled vibe.

Amazing experience at the Big Easy. We rolled in unannounced with a group of 12 and all received great service.
Cocktails were great, and the banter from Liz, Doug and Merlin was awesome. We were all made to feel very comfortable and I would recommend this bar for anyone looking for a great staff, atmosphere and tasty cocktails

Unfortunately the jambalaya is off the menu right now, but the cauliflower burger was excellent. The friendly manager and his acknowledgment that I was a real aficionado who didn't look the type to eat a burger with knife and fork was worth the trip. Nice atmosphere, it seems like a good place to bring a friend or two.

If you like spicy creole style food, this place is for you. Great chips, really solid burgers, and a jambalaya with a kick. Order less than you think, really filling but also good. 👍

Absolutely would recommend!!! The atmosphere is excellent, great tunes, awesome decor, hilarious secret mural details - ask the staff what to look for in their inspired murals! 🤣 Very prompt service, the staff knew what I wanted before I even did! Everything was well worth a try, the cocktails were amazing, the fried chicken burger was wayyyyyay more delicious than I’d hoped for! All in all, we had the most awesome, delicious and comfortable night at The Big Easy!! Well worth a visit!! ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐💥

Fantastic Place.
I went there last night with a few friends after dinner. The staff were really upbeat and friendly.
I talked to one of the owners for about 15 minutes about rye whiskey. He was very knowledgeable and gave me some great tips about what to order.
Great music, cool vibe, and I would recommend checking it out if your are in the Darlinghurst area.

I LOVE this spot! Such a great venue to go get the crew together have a blast.

The Fireball Fried Chicken is ridiculously delish, throw in some hushpuppies with the burbon sauce and you're going to have a good time!!!!!
Desserts are to die for too! The Fireball and pumpkin pie cheesecake is a MUST EAT!! Really beautiful authentic and wholesome dessert made with love... Will definitely be back for seconds!

What a fantastic vibrant bar and specialty food venue. Doug and Merlin ensure you are fed with delicious food, especially the succulent southern American chicken ( with their own twist) and you will never go thirsty with great cocktails and good selection of beers and spirits. A very personable and enjoyable experience, will definitely be heading back soon.

The best under rated bar in Sydney. Amazing staff , Lizzie the main bar tender will make you feel like your the only person that matters. Merlin is amazing too. PBR on tap. Fireball at the ready. Always down for a good time.

Went here last night. Cute - lots of different spaces. Good food. Vegan options a plenty (I noticed, though I’m not vegan) the cauli’ fritters and hush puppies are great.

Total winning sell was when I asked for a cocktail but nothing sweet, the bar tender said “we don’t have anything sweet, we’re all salty bitches”!! Yes!!!

Just went here for some fried chicken and beer. Great beer. But more so likly the best fried chicken I've had in my life. Juicy, crunchy and fresh 100/10 will order again. But next time I'm getting "A BUCKET" just too myself. Love you wife but get your own bucket!!!

This place is insane. So much fun. The customers are great, the staff are amazing. The singing out loud to all the songs is such a crazy night. Go have fun. Drinks are a treat.

The best small bar in Sydney by far. Delicious food and amazing drinks. The staff are so friendly, I feel like I'm at home. Warmest hospitality. I fell in love with the most amazing cocktail list, then the cream on top was the dessert menu (pecan pie + Fireball Cheesecake + Key Lime Pie) OMG!!! Mumma's secret night out. This bar added to my favorite place to go. Very cool with nteresting cocktail, every cocktail we tried it was WOW, very helpful and knowledgeable bartenders. Love it and will be back soon ❤

Really good cocktails which are served with a smiles, nice people and atmosphere. We always get the fireball fried chicken Bucket too and it is yummy.
Definitely recommend

Really good high quality cocktails, lovely bar guy who served us and they were playing some serious bangers all night. Highly recommend.
