Staff were kind and polite. I think it’s the best food you can get coming out of Newcastle airport (especially coming out late like we did). Was very relaxing.

Fantastic service! Charlotte was our server and was so friendly and patient with our requests. She also took time to have a lovey chat with us. The food highlights were the pate and dumplings. The pork and prawn mix was so succulent and the chilli sauce was incredible.

Order:
- Medium Scotch fillet Steak mushroom sauce, chips and salad.
- Pork buns
- Furphy

Steak came out on the medium-rare side which I often expect. The steak was juicy and perfectly cooked in my opinion. The salad was an excellent fat compliment to the steak. The chips were crunchy on the outside and soft inside... Better than lots of fish and chips joints. Will definitely order a large separate side of chips next time.

The pork buns had a lot of flavour and were mostly delightful however the bun had some hardened spots which were slightly stale. Overall not too bad considering they're probably not ordered that much.

The Furphy was on Tap - no complaints.

Lovely, accommodating staff and beautiful food in a quiet peaceful location with parking at door. They made my daughter's birthday very special.

2nd time staying at Mercure hotel and have some food at MachOne located inside.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is great and reasonable price.
Highly recommended.
