Sushi on Stanley

Kept coming back twice to this place during my stay in Sydney. Love love their humble food served with authenticity. Staff are so nice and friendly too. Highly recommend if you are looking for genuine comfort food. Great if you going to eat alone or in groups.

Me personally, i would reconmend trying out the grilled salmon sushi. It's something not many people would buy or see on the menu. It's 2 grilled salmon sushi for 5 dollars but its absolutely worth it. It brings back your appetite, and melts in your mouth. Litterally one of the best sushi to eat. I reconmend getting the 2 grilled salmon sushi for 5 dollars to taste test it and then order more afterwards. 10/10. Other places when you buy grilled sushi, its cold or just has a 5/10 taste. Personally, id go for the grilled salmon sushi.

It was nice a little spot for a quick bite, my daughter enjoyed a tuna avocado baby roll. Service was super fast and they were lovely.

Came here for lunch with the missus on our 2 year anniversary. Food was impeccable and the servers were incredibly nice. The only reason atmosphere didn’t get 5 stars is cos of the annoying larrikins at the Italian joint next door 😂. 9.5/10, would definitely come back !

Great service and lovely food. Very affordable and a more authentic Japanese vibe to the place. Never been to japan but it has that vibe none the less. I imagine this is what it’s like there. I love the rustic food and you can bring your own booze. Highly recommend this place 😊❤

I’ve been coming here for the past eight years and it has never failed. Food and service are top! My favourite dish is Crispy Salmon Yaki.

Great value for money and delicious. The museum station is close. It was lunch time, so we ate at an outdoor table.

The sushi and tempura here is fresh, made to order and delicious. Tempura was cooked perfectly. Staff are also very friendly!

This place was excellent considering the price. The sushi was extremely fresh and delicious and tons of menu options. I ended up not being able to finish all of the delicious food that I ordered. The place itself is a little cramped and I don't think they serve any alcohol, but if you want really great sushi at an extremely fair price point, this would be my top choice. I will definitely be coming back! 😁

Exceptional quality sushimi, we ate on the roadside and it was delightful. Teriyaki chicken sauce was to die for. Friendly and happy staff.

Cheap and cheerful Japanese place. Food was good value, tasty and sashimi was fresh.

Don’t expect good service nor will you get super complex flavours (you cannot expect it with these prices, it’s not Nobu.)

Sashimi was a good decent size.

Always great fresh sushi and great sashimi - my best choice everyday Japanese restaurant in the area, Serving in take-a-way for COVID19 - you can sit outside so in the open air - consistently fresh, busy at times so be prepared to wait, there is a reason that there are often a few groups hanging around - it is one of the few places that worth the wait for good valued, fresh, tasty bento style boxes in the area.

Close to sushi in Japan itself! Also, quite affordable. Recommend visit to try food Japanese cousin
