The Australian Hotel Murgon

Didn't stay, so I can't really comment on accommodation.
The food was fantastic, and the service was excellent.
A nice little country town with a great country pub.

Stayed one night while walking Rail Trail. Very clean and tidy, comfortable. Very well set up for the price. Was concerned re noise and lights from pub and RSL but no issues. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely perfectly done steak. Meals prepared quickly and very reasonably priced. Tidy, renovated decor that oozes class with friendly and approachable staff. Only quibble is drink prices are steep for a small town but I understand the logic in their case.

Lovely clean friendly pub. The food is spot on, no it's not gourmet restaurant level. It's probably the best value you will find anywhere, perfectly cooked, hot delicious food. Steak cooked perfectly, great sauces, thumbs Up to the chef and staff here. The area is stunning too, great free camping, shops and atmosphere

Had a triple room, clean and tidy, didn't attend the hotel restaurant.

We did part of the rail trail from Wondai to Murgon and stopped at the hotel for a coffee, on a Sunday, when little else was open. The staff gave us great hospitality. The publican took time to welcome and talk to us. Would highly recommend this hotel. A friendly, nice town.

Rooms where clean, not showers, water pressure was good. Bed was comfortable plenty of pillows and blankets.
Good mobile and Internet signal. Coffee and tea provided. Had a good sleep.

Great meals, cold beer, staff were friendly, boss wasn't very welcoming but, they were very busy. Nice old building. Accom available.

The staff at The Australian Hotel were extremely helpful and very nice . They let me into my room early so I could freshen up before attending a funeral . The room was tidy and clean

I received a friendly welcome when I booked in and had a delicious lunch with friends , the food and service were second to none and I will be staying there again in future. I would highly recommend it to everyone.
