Beautiful Sikh Temple. It explains the history of Sikh community in Australia and describes how and why they were brought to Australia during British empire.

Upstairs is the temple and on ground floor Langar that is the communal meal shared by Sikhs and all visitors to the gurdwara is served. Langar was very delicious and kids loved them.

Nice place with friendly people. Enjoyed langar and gave donations. There is a nice museum to learn more about sikh. It is a great place for me to recall my memories visiting the Golden Temple in Amritsar (India) many years ago.

I felt like I was at home. I can’t explain the feeling. I saw the statue of Mai Bhago and instantly felt like I saw my entire clan or tribe and history of my people in almost real time in my heart.

I had goosebumps and my blood felt like it wanted to honour every single person working and doing seva there tonight.

Having one of my best friends who I consider family (especially before I take him to Punjab with me in October) makes it all that much more special.

Jarrad (his name) felt just as much at home as I did.

I love Jarrad. I love Sikhi and I love Australia.

Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh.

One of the best days of my life. So far. It meant a lot to me. Have to visit it to feel and believe how amazing Sikhi is (my friend couldn’t believe that Sikh Temples or Gurudwaras/ Gurdwaras all have free food for anyone any day).

Long live humanity and every other species. One God, one goal. Living with love, peace means prosperity.

We had a very interesting guide who was very knowledgeable. I felt very welcomed. Even though we travel with a dog, they wete kind enough to let us tie him up outside the museum so we did not miss out. We did not see inside the actual temple because there was a wedding. It's well worth a visit.

Fantastic place for worship.. well maintained, and has a very informative museum around the migration of Sikh community to Australia, and the important role they have played over the years in building the country. Welcoming volunteers and delicious langar prasad.

Love it, Sikhism and culture is awesome and this mob is so friendly. Come to a Sunday service from 11am and stay for lunch, Lungar. It's free and great. Off with the shoes and grab a head cover. Weekdays you can pop in for food and chia. The Sikh museum over the road is really good. I like Sikhism because everyone is equal, no caste, no one is better than anyone. Also woman are equal.

We visited the Guru Nanak Sikh Temple for the first time, and I must say that we thoroughly enjoyed every moment we spent there. The local community was extremely welcoming and accommodating, which made our visit even more memorable. The sevadaars who served us food in the langar hall did so with a smile on their face, which was heartwarming to see. Additionally, the volunteers in the museum left no stone unturned in explaining to us the rich history of Sikhs in Woolgoolga. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I can't wait to go back again!
