Sushi Hotaru

It is a very beautiful sushi restaurant, exotic, delicious sushi flavors. The service of the staff is very good. The staff on Sunday provide good service. It makes me more impressed and will definitely come back to eat here again. 🍱🍣

Every dish was delish! My fav was the Vegetable Tempura! Also loved the Spicy Seared Salmon :)

Fresh handmade sushi in a casual setting at competitive prices. We visited at lunchtime, and there were lots of options all priced at $4.80, as well as a variety of (still very reasonable) sides and mains. A pair of smoky seared salmon nigiri dusted with shichimi, a plate of salmon sashimi, and a serving of delicious chicken karaage, with exceptionally light batter, made for a great lunch.

After a horrible day of buying overpriced gifts for my beloved mother, my partner and I were in a truly foul mood. We were desperate for something to eat and trying to locate a food court in the seemingly endless maze that is the downstairs galleries. And Lo and behold, we found a truly unforgettable dining experience.

Very good food. Nice staff and clean atmosphere. I have been here 10+ times and they never let me down. Sometimes u might have to queue for 5-1min.

This is an exceptionally popular sushi train where a queue forms will before it's opening time of 11:30am.

You go here to eat, so the atmosphere is noisy and hectic but the quality of food is pretty good hence the queue.

Fantastic, fresh, tasty with excellent customer service. Great location inside the arcade, have been past many times but decided to stop by today. Highly recommend the scampi it had a fresh flavour. Give it a try next time you're around there! Thanks!

Have been coming with my family to Hotaru at the Galleries Victoria and their other store in Sydney CBD for years. A good place to have food with kids. Nice fairly quiet atmosphere. Good sushi at a reasonable price.

Always been a regular at this joint. Excellent customer service and can easily order the sushi from tablet device or just pick from the conveyor belt. Good size portion and fresh. My favourites are the spicy grilled salmon, spicy grilled scallop, and spicy grilled squid.

Best sushi train in Sydney. I usually dine here solo and it’s faster to get a seat quickly. Love their ordering system via the iPad. They have a restaurant also in Melbourne but I far prefer this one; their reservation out front works well (Melbourne doesn’t have one, just stupid lining up) and staff are more quicker. Super busy between 12 to 1:30pm.

My favourite sushi train in Sydney. Always order from the screen so they make it for you fresh. Too many great dishes to mention and my favourite is their soft shell crab.

I went lunch time (12:30pm) on a Tuesday. I was seated instantly and ordered hot food from the iPad menu. It all came within 10 minutes and was the most delicious sushi I’ve had in the city so far. The agedashi tofu was crispy!!! Authentic and the staff were super nice. Discount for paying cash also 👍🏽
