First time to eat here midweek lunch. Quite popular restaurant. Very good food, service😊. We had Spicy Miso Ramen, karaage Don, Tonkatsu Don. #Japanese #ramen #city #sydney

Had wagyu beef, chicken tonkatsu and yakitori for dinner and they didn’t disappoint. Chicken tonkatsu was fried to the right level of crunchiness whereas wagyu beef salad was well complemented with the sauce.

My favorite would be the yakitori, which was grilled to perfection, love the juiciness of it, though it’s a tad too salty for me. It’s so juicy that I craved for more.

Food’s served quick and the servers were attentive to our orders. Overall this was a satisfying experience.

Good service and still delicious food.
I have been eating here for the past 5 years and have seen the food go fun good to great! The menu has grown in size and they now offer a great variety of dishes. My current favourite is the wagyu beef yaki shabu shabu with ponzu sauce! Its very delicious and the wagyu is premium grade. Ordering is now done via tablets, which is easy if you know what you want, but if you have a question it becomes very hard to get a staff member to assist you. They do not have a "call staff" button, so if it is busy it will be hard to get a someone's attention.

Overall, it is still great food and a decent place to eat.

Review from 5 years ago:
Good service, delicious food. Definitely worth the wait in line. This place is always busy. My chilli beef ramen had good broth (soup) but the beef was a extremely overcooked and salty.

Ramen noodles was delicious but the hand made buckwheat noodles was a little disappointing. The pork and charsui was to die for. Salmon was fresh and rice was prefectly cooked.

Would highly recommended this place if you don't mind the wait (it's worth it)

We had late lunch around 2.30pm. 😱 no queue today. Aren’t we lucky!!! They’re always busy at lunch hours. You might be waiting in queue for little while. You can help yourself with ordering food from Ipad. Staff will bring your order to table. Unagi Taster was a bit salty for me. Tokyo Ramen was delicious. The noodles were cooked perfectly. Staff very Friendly, fast service and good food.

I know the photos don’t look like much, mainly because I just took terrible photos, I’ll take my word for it. The food is excellent. I love the option of Japanese beers, as well as to add things to your meals like additional tasty treats into your Ramen. The staff are lovely, and I love the option for choosing your food through the computer system under the table. Highly recommend this place.

Recommended by Japanese nationals! Authentic Gyoza, and excellent Ramen! We had lunch for 2, with green tea, all for less than $60, so this is very good value for money. The location, on the top floor of the mall is nice, well illuminated and a positive vibe. Will be back!

LOVE this place. I have eaten here four times in the last two months, the food is authentic Japanese, fresh and delicious and the menu is quite big. My go to dishes are the chicken Karaage (you have to try this, it is AMAZING) okonomiyaki is also delicious and the green tea ice cream is the perfect dessert to finish off the meal.

My family and I came at 12pm for lunch so the lines were mildly long but it moved fairly fast. We were accommodated to seating at a table of 6 with another family of 3. I guess that was alright, but if you preferred privacy, it would’ve been a problem.
Ordering is via an iPad and food is sent straight to the kitchen. It makes it a tad difficult to catch the wait staff as you’ve gotta call them personally for things such as table water, but they’re attentive once you get a hold of them.
Food wise, I wasn’t a fan of ramen prior to this, but after my visit here, I’d highly recommend the Tokyo Ramen. The Pork Katsu Curry was nice too, but it’s a tad on the expensive side.
Paid via the Liven App so it made things convenient.

Nice service. Friendly staff. Great taste of Ramen. It brings back memories of my 13 years living in Japan. I definitely come back again.

The Wagyu yakiniku don is excellent and authentic. Good quality meat and fair portions for the price.

Great selection of Ramen and sides. Fast service, and the line moves fast. They have cute little dividers for single diners on the large tables, otherwise tables for groups of all sizes.

Good thing they’ve got self service order makes it easier on the team to bring the food to you and cook delicious foods!

I’ve been coming here for years during off peak hours so there’s less mayhem when long line up with hungry humans all hungry and cranky.

Overall the team is good and as customers also, we should be courteous towards service people. I personally have had good experience because I’m friendly and they always look out for me.

Easily one of the best Japanese places in Sydney. Every dish is great, hard to choose from time to time because they’re all so good. Great Soba, Udon, Ramen, Don, etc. Lovely staff and great atmosphere.

Ichiban Boshi has some delicious ramen so that you’re guaranteed to be satisfied whenever you visit. However definitely do try dishes such as donburi rice bowls, curries and all sorts of Japanese delights!

I’ve had their signature ramen (max ~20 a day) and Very Hot ramen, both are solid choices for various reasons. In this occasion, I went for something different called Very Hot Cheese Ramen and for those wondering, cheese absolutely works in ramen! It mellows down the level of spicy but adds a satisfying element to each gulp of noodles and soup.

Personally I love the Iced Matcha Cappuccino and I always get it every time I’m here. It comes with a jar for sugar liquid to adjust sweetness to your liking. ⁣⁣⁣

One of my favourite Japanese restaurants in the CBD. The place it’s always busy so during lunch time there might be a wait. The staff always greed you in Japanese upon arrival which makes it so sweet, it made feel like I was in japan again! The menu is simple and not too “busy” and you get great value for the price you pay. Don’t miss the yakisoba omelette, I haven’t found this dish anywhere else in Sydney! Make sure you carry cash because they don’t accept cards!

Love the Tokyo ramen, the noodles are chewy and the soup has a lovely flavour. My friend ordered the miso ramen and I could tell she loved it because she didn’t leave a single drop of soup in the bowl. Both ramen were $16.50 and I’d highly recommend! ☺

Excellent food and atmosphere. Greeted in a friendly and welcoming manner. Only problem would be that the food is quite expensive. However, the excellent food makes up for that. A very wide and diverse menu with intrusive dishes that allure your interest. The perfect place for anyone;young, old, man, woman.

Also I will do follow for follow

Would 100% recommend the chicken omurice (ketchup fried rice wrapped with an omelette)! Servers might have to point out where the iPad used for ordering is located while seating customers though.

They only make 30 bowls of the tonkotsu ramen and 20 bowls of the shoyu tonkotsu ramen. I got the shoyu tonkotsu ramen. Noodles were perfect thin straight and perfectly done. the broth was i can say amazing it was packed with umami and porky flavor the texture and consistency was spot on, the shoyu flavor was not over powering the whole bowl, you can really taste the toasted sesame seeds and a hint of roasted garlic flavour. Another good thing was i dont need to order extra noodles for $2.5 just get the $1 extra for a large one.... i can say one of the best bowls of ramen in town. Only shame was got only a slice of a perfect chasiu which was a good ratio of lean meat and fat, and egg was just half and stone cold, and menma was missing. Ill just order extra chasiu on my next visit. still one of the great bowls in town. 5🌟
