Beautiful restaurant inside the QT Sydney hotel.
Great service, staff knowledgeable about food and wine. Happy to offer suggestions.
Steak was amazing so was the hazelnut semifreddo popcorn was amazing.
Would definitely recommend and return here for a casual meal.
Great bar too with good bartenders who will make anything they can for you.

We had the absolute best night here! We were celebrating a special occasion and every wait staff who interacted with us congratulated us. We also got some champagne and felt so special.

The food was incredible. We bought the 800gr delmonico and it was perfection. The ceaser salad table side was delicious absolutely drowning in freshly grated parm and don’t get me started on the duck fat potatoes! We could’ve happily eaten another bowl.

Our mouthwatering dessert was recommended to us by Emma who was an absolute angel all night. She was so attentive, cheerful and really added to our great experience.

Thank you Gowings for giving me such a perfect Valentine's Day dinner. Everything was so wonderful, especially the filet mignon steak; it was definitely the most tender I've ever had. The garlic pizza for appetizer was also delicious. However, I must say the dessert wasn't great, but regardless, highly recommended!

Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Staff awesome and the wine list extensive. We found the gnocchi was a little flour but overall the food quality was very good.

What an absolute delight. Amazing food and service. World class. Try the Caesar salad made in front of you ! The crumbed pork chop was sensational. Honestly such a great experience.

Food was delicious. We had the pickled muscles, linguine crab pasta, wagyu steak and roast potatoes. Wait staff were friendly and polite.

What a lovely Sydney hidden gem! Stumbled across this place for dinner before watching our musical at the States Theatre in the same building. Great atmosphere, great service and great food. Thoroughly enjoyed the 800g Brooklyn Valley Grass-fed Delmonico Steak from the serve to finish!

Such a cute, hidden gem. We only had drinks but the service and drinks were yummy. Decor was funky and atmosphere had a great vibe. The steak looked amazing and would love to try when I'm back in town.

Fabulous food, terrific waitpersons and great atmosphere! We went here for dinner before a show after finding it through Google. What a hidden gem. Atmosphere is querky but classy with a bit of old world Gatsby charm. We were early for our booking so sat at the bar and ordered cocktails while listening to the funky DJ who played great tunes all the time we were there, loud enough to enjoy but not too loud that you couldn't chat easily so he created a good vibe. Our waitperson Phillipo looked after us with a smile and answered all of our questions about the menu with great information and was passionate about the food. He made our visit really great fun. All of the staff were really friendly and professional but relaxed. The food was next level heavenly....linguine crab pasta was amazing, beautifully cooked, spaghetti vongole cooked to perfection and the biggest pork chop we have ever seen, we all had a piece of it, delicious! Dessert ( which we managed to squeeze in...lol) is not to be missed...we had liquorice gelato and also English trifles ....wow, so good!! Massive thanks to the chef and his team who we could see working in the background creating these delicious dishes and also to the waitstaff and hostesses who all made our night very memorable. We will definitely be back, so many other dishes, cocktails and mocktails to try, can't wait. 👍👍👏👏💖

We had a great dinner here with first impression of warm greetings from the host. The red wine and cocktails were served with interesting explanation and the steak were delicious with correct way of cooking that we wanted. We highly recommend the place to anyone want to try good food and great service.

Nice mood. I was surprised lobster burger and a fresh oyster (super small size both). But it doesn't matter. Cuz there mood is so nice.

A wonderful spot for celebrating a special occasion or simply celebrating the end of the work week. We had the burrata and peaches 🍑 with a superb pesto sauce followed by calamari 😋 and then the divine pasta 🍝 dishes which didn’t leave much room for dessert, tempting as they looked. Everything was delicious, focusing on fresh ingredients as the star of the dishes. The only thing that marred it slightly was the waitress trying to convince us to have the pizzetta with ricotta to mop up the burrata as it felt like we were being upsold, but generally speaking, the service was excellent. Highly recommended 👍

This place hasn't changed a bit, in a good way. Maybe the menu, slightly.

It's been a while since I've been back and made a reservation (recommend) beforehand.

However, flaw of the evening was the lamb rack which was a bit under, despite the sous vide taste. My steak was marvelous as I remembered it to be.

Staff were happy and helpful to be back and complemented a minor error with a cheesecake - I'm not usually a cheesecake fan but it was amazing.

For a side dish, I recommend the truffle Mac n cheese, cos it's legit truffle and not oil BS.

Extensive wine selection for the lovers out there too!

We arrived in Sydney and are staying at QT. With not having much breakfast because of our early flight we decided to treat ourselves to Gowing which is the fine dining restaurant inside the hotel on the 1st Floor.

My lovely wife order for us and she started off with the Burrata. We both haven’t tried this before but we both love cheese. We expected it to be heavy but it was so light and fresh !

We continued our meal with the Caesar salad which is present with a show of them making it in front of you. Our waiter Irnesto put on the show and his lovely charisma made it fun and delicious. Our meals was followed by duck fat potato’s and the handmade pasta Mafaldi.

I really enjoyed our fine dining experience with the team at Gowings the service was fun and professional and the food came out quick and presented nicely. I have visited the bar every night since my stay at QT and I love the energy and the ambience which is the reason why I keep returning to it.

Absolutely stellar dinner. Came with 6 people for a birthday dinner and had a fantastic time. The wine list is top notch, the food is out of this world, and the service was friendly and punctual. Highly recommended!

Had the rib eye with duck fat potatoes. Cooked perfectly . However I believe the waitperson ( Alice ) made a big difference to the overall experience as much as the food. Great night had by our table of 4
