Just beautiful Vietnamese. Now our favourite. How did they get the barramundi to be so soft or the chicken skin so crispy yet the rest so tender. The crispy tofu dish just amazing with duck egg sauce. Such attentive service. I used a napkin and immediately they replaced it with a new one. I can see why this place is rated so high.

We liked everything that we ordered - hanoi pork, Vietnamese beef stew, special fried rice and edamame. Hanoi pork got a really nice flavour and I liked the little burnt bits. The beef stew was tender and my husband almost didn't want to share it. We would like to return here and would recommend it. Thanks for the friendly service!☺

Chill Restaurant in Crow’s Nest is the most authentic Vietnamese restaurant I’ve tried on the North side.

I ordered the crispy skin chicken with tomato rice and let me say this is one of the best dishes I’ve had at a Vietnamese restaurant in Sydney. The chicken was very juicy, tender and the skin cooked to crunchy perfection. The salad was very fresh and the sweet fish sauce was the perfect addition to the whole dish. The sauce also had red chilli in it which I loved and added a nice kick to everything. Highly recommend getting the tomato rice with this (only $1 extra) as it added an extra level of flavour profile compared to the regular rice.

Chill also has plenty of gluten free choices as with most Vietnamese restaurants. My partner ordered the vermicelli with grilled lemongrass beef (pic 2). Even though the menu didn’t say it was gluten free we asked and they said it can be made gluten free. The dish was absolutely delicious as well and my partner who is coeliac felt completely fine afterwards. This is our new go to spot for Vietnamese food in the North Shore.

The food was exceptional! I visited Vietnam a few months ago and was obsessed with the food - Chill definitely delivered. Our table took a little long to be cleared which is why I didn’t give them a 5 but the staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend.

Very delicious Vietnamese food.
My favourite is Beef Or Crispy chicken Pho … executed really well and authentic tasting.
Their entrees n mains are good too n we all love their signature Fried rice… a must try! Yummy!
Service is good n attentive. Outside seating available.

I went here for both lunch and dinner (on separate occasions), and both experiences were good.

The food was great, the service was decent. It took a little bit longer than normal for service, but maybe that is because it was really busy at the time. The decor of the place was really nice, and I highly recommend coming here.

We tried:
- chill fried rice - actually really nice; good flavours and really good servings. I would definitely recommend
- beef pho - quite refreshing and good quality meat too. The noodles were a good texture and the soup was tasty
- clay pot salmon - really interesting flavours. Unique and quite nice but I feel like it would be a hit or miss. There is a lot of salmon, so it’s definitely worth it!
- vermicelli salad with lemongrass chicken - I really loved this. It was fresh and had great flavours
- the duck curry - pretty tasty but not really my favourite dish

Highly highly recommend coming here! The food is good, the atmosphere is good, and the staff are good!

The best Vietnamese in Sydney. Every dishes are so tasty. Quality of meat is great as well.

Good Vietnamese restaurant for a bigger crowd, their dishes were well portioned and made to share.
Very friendly and prompt service, food came out relatively quick, busy but not cramp.

My favourite was the duck curry and the green papaya salad. Full of flavours. The pork belly entree was smokey and delicious. Salmon was nice too, sweet but not overly and sauce was perfect with rice.
We will definitely be back!

Friendly and professional staff. Nice interior. Lots of food options. All the dishes we ordered were delicious, made with just the right amount of flavors and all ingredients blend beautifully. Would like to come back and try other dishes. Highly recommended if you’d like to have a slightly fancier version of Vietnamese food!

We were seated quickly in an intimate but not crowded seat, well placed to watch crows nest naturally - warm and sheltered. Food was quick, tasty and extremely well portioned, when my girlfriend found her dish to spicy the owner personally came out and remade the order more to her pallet at no extra cost. So considerate and kind, worth every penny

Definitely a hidden gem in the north shore. Excellent Vietnamese food with authentic flavour and good service. Price point is a bit steeper than other places, but, I guess you get what you pay for

Crispy skin chicken: SS, 9/10. Moist and crispy but not too oily. Also, skin not dried out to the point of crackling.

Special beef pho: S, 8/10. Very solid but not the best I've had. Broth was aromatic and beefy but perhaps a bit too minty? Beef was a little tough.

Lemongrass pork vermicelli: SS, 9/10. Pork belly was excellently cooked with sweet, salty and charred flavours. Accompanying vermicelli salad was standard.

This is absolutely my go-to Vietnamese restaurant, whenever I have no idea where to go but I want to ensure high quality of food, I come here for sure! Super friendly staff and great food!! They would even make dishes that are not on the menu for us, they would go the extra mile to satisfy customers. We had beef stew today which was absolutely perfect for the winter season. Love their "special" fried rice too - it wasn't oily at all and there was actually some sweetness to it. I came to this restaurant more than 5 times already, but I always forgot to take pictures and didn't leave a comment until now. I just enjoy the whole experience here!! If you come here the first time, I would highly recommend their crispy chicken!!!

New menu, Pho is phenomenal, even for vegetarians! The crispy noodles are also a hit. Best crispy skin chicken I've ever had. Staff are phenomenal (yeah Henry!)

Lovely, comfy Viet restaurant with a great range of options. Everything was flavourful & well cooked. The staff were pleasant too.

Taste good without MSG.

Personally doesn’t like burnt food, otherwise 5 stars for the food.

Good variety of food and it came out fairly quick. Papaya salad was very nice with the right balance of acidity. I also ordered the bbq lemongrass pork with tomato rice which was full of flavour and good presentation.

Chill is one of our date night specials. Every time the food is wonderful delicious & yes we’ve enjoyed nearly everything 😊

Last night we started with the Chill Tacos, as a change from their sexy pawns. Both are fabulous. Order both.

Make sure you book a table. They fill up quick.

I go here all the time but I pretty much eat the food before I get to photograph it! It’s the best. The team will make you feel like family. And every dish is yummy and filling. Above average food, service and ambience. My favourites are the pork chop with egg noodles soup or the chicken chow mein. The Vietnamese pancake is delicious as well. Highly recommend!

Seriously good Vietnamese! You can tell they care about the food they produce. Service was great & they kept a cool head whilst it was very busy! Definitely worth a try. Strongly recommend the crispy silken tofu!
