I could not have asked for a better surgeon. Dr Sue Valmadre was the third OBGYN surgeon I had seen over the last 2 years. From my first consultation to post lap hysterectomy Dr Valmadre made me feel at ease with her calm demeanour and surgical expertise. I am 3 weeks post op and having a great recovery. Thank you Dr Sue and your expert surgical and admin team for your 5* care all round.

Dr Valmadre is hands down the best OBG around. Her knowledge, skill and professionalism is outstanding. I cannot speak highly enough of our experience here. She is probably the most hard working OBG in Australia!! Absolutely brilliant doctor, and her team are lovely and vibrant. Always a pleasure to attend her rooms.

I cannot rate Dr Valmadre and her beautiful team of Sue and Bridget highly enough. Professional, empathetic, clever, knowledgeable, patient, and with continuing extraordinary care of, and commitment to, me, my whole experience: from pre-op to post-op has been faultless. I have been incredibly fortunate and am thankful in so many ways, to have had the best gynaecological medical team in my corner. xx

Dr Valmadre was our OB for the birth of our first baby. Her and her team were nothing short of amazing during my pre natal care and especially my birth. I felt completely assured in all aspects of my pregnancy and all of my choices were supported entirely. If you’re reading this and considering Dr Valmadre, rest assured you are making the right decision.

I am so forever grateful for the care I have been given by Dr Valmadre during a very stressful time. She is a lovely, kind and incredibly skilled professional.
The ladies that work with her are also wonderful and organised everything for me so fast and with ease. Thank you.

My GP referred me to Dr Valmadre for my first baby and I am so grateful! Had the best experience possible! Even with a difficult birth and emergency cesarian she was by my side @2am.

Both Sue (valmadre) and Sue (midwife) are an amazing team dedicated to their patients. I recently became pregnant with second child and the first thing I did was Call Dr valmadres office to see if she was available for the due date. I would have been devastated if she was away (she doesn’t take on patients if she won’t be around for delivery)

Thankfully we are all booked in! 👌👶

I read a review her fees are expensive, but in my experience the money was well worth the appts leading up to delivery and the birth itself. My little one went to special care after delivery and Dr valmadre would come and check in on us! Some things like having a capable, friendly, empathetic, dedicated obstetrician are priceless!

By the way, the Mater hospital at North Sydney was equally amazing with better service than any 5 star hotel. Great meals, attentive staff, and the family room was extra special!

If you can afford it, go with Dr Valmadre @ the Mater! Can’t go wrong!!

The only feedback I have from the hospital / dr as I was finding it distressing dealing with birth of First child (he was labour / emergency Cesar and wasn’t breathing at birth) After that, I saw the support at the Mater for the 2nd birth, the support person is suppose to be there for the birth, but because it was another emergency Caesarian no one communicated to get her to come in (she was planned to be by my side during birth to help relieve my anxiety) Then when baby 2 was send to special care I became very upset again. Close care needs to be taken to mothers mental health, not just physical health.

In hindsight (just updating this comment) I hope the Mater ask new mums “how they are feeling mentally” just the same as they ask “how is your cesarean healing up!”

I have visited Dr. Sue Valmadre for a few appointments over the last two years and I believe she is a very competent and professional doctor. However, I wish I could say the same for her receptionist. I was running late for a recent appointment (first time ever), and contacted the clinic to let them know, and was met with some incredibly rude and disrespectful attitude from the receptionist, and she was not very understanding to my situation at all. Now, I realise we all have bad days, but it’s not very professional or pleasant to take it out on others, especially when they are paying top dollar for a medical service. If anything it’s a receptionists job to be kind, courteous, and put a patient at ease. However, I felt attacked, shocked, and upset by this receptionist, and it seems I’m not the only patient to receive the same poor treatment and feel compelled to mention it in a review. As a front desk representative for a any service, respecting the customer/patient is the first rule of customer service, regardless of how stressful your day has been. Please try to do better.
