Gundagai Tourist Suites

Must admit it didn't look like much from outside, but super happy with our spacious, modern and clean room for three adults. Must have been fairly recent upgrade. Very well done. Big fridge, coffee machine and microwave in room. We had a walk around the compound and surprised to see a full sized fridge outside for campers! Will definitely stay again if traveling past Gundagai. Will recommend.

Nice staff, spacious rooms in their little motel suites, very clean and newer bathrooms - bedding was decent. No complaints at all - great for a cheap and quick overnight stop over.

Lovely large rooms, very clean, comfortable chairs and bed.
Service on arrival very helpful.
For EV owners, they can offer a $15 charging package.

I’ve stopped at Gundagi often and these were the best rooms I’ve stayed in.
I stayed in a motel room (#17) and it was newly renovated, clean, comfy and with everything you require for an overnight stay. The shower was amazing and the bed was incredibly comfy.
Will be stopping by again next time I’m passing.

For anybody who drives between Melbourne and Sydney this is the BEST overnight stay. The first thing to know is that it is not a stand-alone motel with lots of rooms, but a small number of suites that are part of a caravan park. As there is a limited number it's best to book in early or you risk missing out. While the reception closes at 6pm there are late night arrival check-in procedures if you have reserved a room.

The suites are very large with a kitchenette, ensuite bathroom, and a great bed. They are fairly new and always spotless. I have stayed overnight a few times and will always use it as my stopover point if I can book a room (I have missed out a few times due to school holidays).

If you are staying more than a day it is closely located to parks, the public pool and the main part of Gundagai.

Highly recommended.

Great stop between Melbourne and Sydney. Very friendly service,impeccably clean room and a short walk to cafes.

Room was spacious and well presented.
Bed was comfortable, bathroom had enough room to swing the proverbial cat.
Walking distance to the RSL, Woolies and a bottle-o. Zero noise from the highway.
Tv was bigger than the tiny ones you usually get in "budget priced" accommodation.
Nothing to make a reasonable complaint about here, honest value for money.

The motel style rooms at this tourist park are modern, large, clean and well appointed. The location is convenient being just off the highway and an easy walk to the main centre of town. The staff are friendly and helpful.

We stayed one night on our way to Sydney. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. They have all the facilities you'd need, they even have a capsule coffee machine 👍🏻
The staff turned on the heater for us just before we arrived 👌🏻

We stayed here one night en route to our destination and very impressed. Clean, cosy and convenient. A proper kitchenette with a full size fridge and freezer, sink and microwave, very comfy bed, and great water pressure in the shower. Modern and clean. Lovely personable service.
The location is fab - just on the edge of town with easy walk to everything. Including the river bank.
Will definitely make this our stop of choice for future trips

This place is amazing I do not regret going here. The rooms are so modern and the park is so close to local restaurants including this amazing Chinese place. Best food ever, best place ever. Gave us a better room for free will not regret coming here and always remeber this place for the future.

We stayed in Room 20 - it was a beautiful, new, clean and spacious room. It looks exactly as it did in the brochure, electric blankets on the bed so we were nice and toasty aswell as heating in the room. The van space next to our room was vacant that night so we were able to park our car under cover however there is parking right at the door of the unit so it was just an added bonus. Walking distance to the local diggers club and Woolworths too!
Would definitely stay here again when travelling through town.

We have a caravan so had a site, they had torrential rain and thunderstorms. Management contacted all who had booked in with vans or tents and offered us undercover sites. So very kind of them. We wil certainly return next time we are in the area.

This is a hidden gem! Second time visitor, loved it the first time and look forward to staying here again.

Checking in and out is seamless and the rooms are surprisingly modern, very comfortable and hygienic. It has all you need from air con/heater to cutlery and dishes to a fridge, and it looks like they are also supporting other local businesses. Woolworths, petrol, and pub food are all close by - a short walk away even. Definitely recommend, this is probably the only place I would stay at when visiting Gundagai.

If this review doesn't get you to book a room - there are 2 cute dogs you can pat near reception! Honestly, it's just a perfect place to stay at and it's great value.

Stayed one night during the trip to SYD, very good

Wow, these suites are unbelievable. Very spacious rooms, extremely clean, modern and comfortable. Would expect to pay double the rate for this sort of accommodation. Everything you need for an overnight stay and plenty more. Netflix on the TVs (paired the tv up to my phone’s hotspot but they have wifi too), walking distance to town and a pool next door during summer. Will definitely be back!

The only things the room was missing was a suitcase stand and a little table to put your drink on when lounging out on the comfy couch 👍🏼

Just arrived and already want to come back!
We were not expecting much since we just needed a place to sleep on our road trip. We loved it in the pictures on the website but we though I would have been photoshopped.
The rooms are actually like that! (Or at least our room) we came after hours but on the phone they nicely gave us instructions. Lights indicated us the room (despite of also being indicated in the map) and room was warm waiting for us.
We were surprised we even found a Nespresso coffee maker in the room and the tv has Netflix so we could watch tv like at home. I know these are becoming staples but not for an economic room like these!
Will definitely be back!!

Seamless after hours check in. Very clean room and general facilities. We stayed in the motel suite and were happy with our choice. The room had everything we needed.

Very clean and comfortable ,just like the pictures on the website.
Only negative I asked if I could use a hose to wash off all the bugs in the front of my car .
Answer no ,this would of been possible they only had 10% capacity .
