Australia Post - Yulara LPO

Convenient: you buy the postcards in the Uluru Shop and can mail it from the post office

We have lived in Yulara for over two years and I have always found the service at the Yulara Post Office to be excellent. I was surprised to see bad reviews online which must be from well over 2 years ago. It is always a pleasure to go in.

Great place to send a postcard, if you mail it with them you will get a special Uluru wet stamp on the postcard - a perfect souvenir.

The only post office in Australia that actually assists you. So many poor experiences in AusPost around the country but Tony and Meredith actually do their jobs and do them well.

It's hard to find. Mainly because the actual post office is at the Yulara resort. But if you feel up to a drive on a corrugated dirt road to look for something that doesn't exist, knock yourself out. But take water in hot weather.

Great service. Had a delivery that had found its way to Yulara while i live in a remote community 600kms away in WA. Man was very helpful and got it redirected with no bother.

Good range of postcards and other assorted souvenirs. Post box located out front of store.
Only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is to indicate this is missing some features - it’s a small sized post office so doesn’t have all the features of a full sized one.
I’m not complaining though. It suited my needs. Was able to purchase stamps and send postcards.

Worst service in a very long time. No greeting, very bad facial expressions which told me I was not welcome to ask questions, and poor service. Would never use again

Can't collect post before 12PM??!!! Really???!! This is my first time I go to Australia Post and have a rule like this!

Also I have some big packages and I said that I want to take one by one, and the other one I want to take soon. I take it after 1 week because I don't have a time. But they are mad to me and said I should to pay $5 if this is will happen again. Idk but if I saw on Australia Post web, they said that I can take it until 3 week and after 3 week, my package will gone or I should to pay extra.

Also the service is really really bad. If this not only Australia Post in Yulara, I will never going here again

Can't collect post before 12:00 and can't collect it after 2:00pm. They give you a whopping 2 hours out of an 8 hours work day to collect items even if your package arrives and is ready to collect earlier that day. Office staff were kind of rude which is just part of the experience ig

The lady at the counter was not exactly polite or willing to help. And later when asked to redirect a parcel, she waited for an entire week to send it off.

Tried to get some clarification on a parcel and was met with rude customer service and feeling like she didn’t care at all about helping and even sighed whilst on the phone and I still did not receive an answer. Not what I expect for asking a simple question in a polite manner.

Worst service ever experienced. No greeting, absolute horrible facial expressions, all this from the old white lady with glasses. You feel like you are literally going there to mess her life and mood. You feel guilty for actually bothering her with your requirements. No goodbye, no anything. Sadly I’ll have to see her face again.
