Swallow Bar

Absolutely love this place! And so so happy they have a mostly gluten free menu. The chef was kind enough to explain what ingredients were in some dishes due to my dietary requirements. Squishy and loud but that’s all part of the experience. Will always bring friends here.

What a find, amazing little bar/restaurant with great staff, incredible food and an atmosphere to get lost in. Live Jazz bands play on a regular basis. Try to get a booth in the front of the venue, you won't be disappointed.

Great food, great service!!! This is a very quirky little jazz pub/restaurant. The minute you walk in the place, you feel like you have stepped back in time. One of the barmen looks like Ned Kelly and he makes a mean cocktail. The decor is very cool. Take yourself and friends there, you will not regret the whole experience.

Simply put, excellent. The vibe is small but cozy. The food is beyond exceptional, with perfect seasonings and interesting flavours. I would absolutely recommend the beinets. When I went the special cocktail was Turkish delight, and what a delight it was.
Absolutely would recommend to anyone looking for a distinct dining experience.

Amazing. Absolutely top quality from start to finish. Excellent service from all staff. Cocktails are absolutely delicious and excellent. Dishes were fantastic all round! This places deserves to have money thrown at them - that's how good they are.

Such a great local bar. I have always had a great time. Food and drinks are delicious and love the atmosphere and the friendliness of the people who work there. Lovely mocktails when I was pregnant last year, and even though spaces can be smallm especially in busy times the staff were so nice and accommodating the afternoon we brought our little one with us. Swallow has been a go to when we have a date night!

The meatballs were beautiful. The omelette was so good my companion wouldn't share it, not even a single bite. The atmosphere wonderful in the garden. A total comfort to eat and drink! The staff pleasant and attentive.

How typical of me to discover the best bar in walking distance.......on their last night of trading. Literally the best expresso martini that has ever passed my lips 💋 😍 ❤ it was soooo good, $20 though. I am hoping to see it reopen. I'd 🧡 to be involved.... Great bones, my kinda cool. Damn!

Really interesting small bar. You can tell that a lot of the locals like it there and can be found sitting at the window after work or having a quiet conversation in one of the booths.

It has a really nice cosy and reflective atmosphere during sunset / dinner.

Great small local bar! We go there for their great food and they make good cocktails too. Nice vibe and good service. Highly recommend their roast sage chicken and steak with frites, just tasty and yummy!

We have just had a wonderful lunch and afternoon at the Swallow Bar. Zoe went out of her way to make my brother's birthday celebration a memorable event. The food was excellent, great wine and impeccable service. The place has such a friendly vibe and you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door. Thank you to everyone, we had a great day.

Wonderful little bar in Maylands, absolutely delicious food and drinks. Music is great and is played at a decent level so you can still hear it but don't need to shout to be heard. Very helpful and attentive staff.

My new favourite Perth bar (and that's saying a lot!). This tiny little bar is such a hidden gem. The retro fit-out, live jazz, delicious menu, and ridiculously friendly staff showcase what I believe all bars should be! Special props to our mate Josie at the bar! We'll be back very very soon for more beers and bants!

What can you say about this beautiful bar. Its fantastic. Awesome staff. Fantastic ambience and unique decor. Small, intimate and wonderful. Great live music. This place us a little gem.

The venue is delightful and the staff were amazing. I booked a small function in the captains room, and the drinks were fairly priced and the food was superb. I would 100% recommend to all my friends.

Good menu. Drinks menu is okay as well. Ended up here as Henrys on Eighth was closed! But we didn't mind....have been here before. Just like different! Scotch is scotch! Cocktails are cocktails!

I wish I lived in Maylands because Swallow bar would be my local. Great staff, great vibe, lovely cocktails and the food is fab. I've been there by myself and with others and always felt welcome.
