Black Gold Motel

Really nice stay. Spacious family suite which was nice and clean and cool history about the place being a converted school classroom. There was plenty of parking. Nice on site restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Great for a short or longer term stay. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed for 2 nights and found the room quality to be excellent. The room was extremely clean and had modern finishes not usually seen in established places. We ate at the restaurant on the first night. The food was reasonably priced, tasty and service was attentive without being pushy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying here.

No frill motel which is situated about 10-15 mins away from Lithgow. I chose this accommodation because they had a 3 bedroom cottage/cabin as I was travelling with a party of 5. I was given the Hawkins room. Self contained cabin with most of the necessary equipment for cooking. I checked in over the King's holiday and it was unfortunate the restaurant was closed. As it is winter, it was pretty cold, especially at the toilet area where the heating could not reach. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay here.

Brad an his team are excellent hosts service was great an the food top notch one of the best steaks I have eaten actually used a butter knife to cut it. The rooms were very clean an comfortable a very quiet location would highly recommend this motel..

Visited with 9 family members for a dinner Saturday evening. Such a lovely restaurant, lovely staff and great service. The food was exceptional. Certainly recommend to all and will be back.

This has become our usual go to place in Lithgow. Excellent motel with pristinely maintained indoor / outdoor areas, spacious parking lots and clean rooms with all the facilities. Staff is friendly and professional. Crib Room restaurant and the bar is a great addition with a range of menu options. An above average motel experience in my opinion.

Excellent motel , very large rooms comfortable cosy and all facilities included, the restaurant is fantastic the food is very good with relaxing Atmosphere, and the staff are warm and friendly professional make you feel welcomed. Highly recommended.

Staff was great. Beds were great. Food was great. What can I say, it was all great. Will definitely stay here again during the next Ironfest.

Fantastic good old fashion service, everyone went out of their way to make our motor bike ride weekend brilliant.They even had live music that weekend, the guys behind the bar knew their drinks and made spot on cocktails.Food was spot on and the rooms very immaculate.

Without a doubt the best motel I've ever stayed at. It's evident the owners and staff really care about the motel as everything is well maintained and the customer service is impeccable

My husband & I have travelled extensively both domestically & internationally, Black Gold Motel matches if not exceeds in service & cuisine, comparable to the best worldwide.

Had a great Valentine's there with my partner and assistant dog. Very welcoming and friendly.. highly recommend

Once again we spent a wonderful weekend at the Black Gold Hotel. Rob, Linda and all their fantastic staff hosted our car clubs annual Christmas in July festivities. All the staff at Black Gold are friendly and helpful. Big shout out to Cody in the bar for the delicious cocktails on Saturday night. We have stayed at Black Gold on numerous occasions and always feel welcome. A great gem of a hotel if you find yourself travelling out west.

I stay here quite often and can confirm that the Staff, rooms and restaurant are fantastic and when on work feeling comfortable when back at the hotel makes your time away all the better.

what was originally just a drive with the little lady to show her where i lived and went to school as a young boy turned into a very pleasant surprise . My old school from kindy to year three turned into a hotel / restaurant what a spin out so much so we decided to turn a day drive into an overnighter that was the right decision the room was great very modern and spacious . The bed was one of the most comfortable i have ever slept on . The food was bloody great lamb cooked perfectly partners trout was amazing too ( her words ) breakfast was again amazing wish i could give more stars we will be back
