Oh my goodness what an amazing feeling is this large rock. Wow. Cannot explain the feeling that you get. You just have to experience this one and put this on your bucket list. Becareful, you may fall in love with rocks❤❤I didnt get to climb it this time, but maybe next time before the walk closes next year. Unfortunately due to people and pollution and carelessness, and with people having slipped and passed away, and aparently the rock is wearing away. Im not sure how these things could be prevented,as the feel of the rock was most amazing, I cannot imagine how uplifting and exhilarating the feeling is to be on top of the rock. It seems a shame that people will not get to climb soon. I thought maybe charge a fee, and then put some fines in place, and make people aware there is a toilet over the road. Just a thought.I heard a mention somewhere that it is the coroner who wants the rock closed because of what they have to endure with the process and the cost and the trauma. It would not be the nicest job.
Take care on the climb if you go people, and have respect whichever way you go. Respect for yourself initially. Respect means to have due regard for the feelings wishes or rights of others. You can look at respect in different ways. It is our attitude thats important. Love and respect yoir environment, it is a privilege to be on this earth, not your right. On that note, enjoy the experience whichever way you go.😊

Very happy it exists and is there, we had some programs recently here and it was great. Had very good time recently visiting exquisite Uluru. The immigrant staff working here make it enjoyable and bring it up because they have better attitude that the penal collony Aussies.

Made up of tourist shops, supermarket, eateries, free cultural activities and the tourist information centre. Local Asian joint is called Ayers Wok - gotta love a good pun.
