10/10 would recommend this place! It brought me right back to Hong Kong, the atmosphere and the food was so authentic!!! Prices were decent too!

The fishballs are like little pockets of flavour explosions – tender, juicy, and packing a punch of freshness.
The noodles were perfect, not too soft, not too firm – just right. And the broth was the perfect complement to the noodles.
Plus, the vibe at HKBS is chill, like you're hanging at your favorite aunt's kitchen. So, if you're into noodle nirvana, this spot is a must-try.

Ordered baked chicken rice with onsen egg in white sauce and milk tea. Friend ordered special curry chicken.

The baked rice was piping hot with crusty cheese and chicken on top, and gooey onsen egg on the inside alongside rice and rich white cream sauce. It was delicious. The serving was quite big for the price, which I was very pleased about. Milk tea was kind of small but tasted very good.

I am very happy with my food and I will come here again in the future.

Great food. I love the tofu fa and baked seafood with fried rice. Milk tea goes well with the meal. In fact the tofu fa is even better compared to Malaysia and Singapore. It is One of the most underrated restaurant in Sydney. I believe you need to come off peak to enjoy fast service.

Decent place with solid food. Expect a wait during peak times such as weekends. The service is pretty good, staff is not rude. Noodle is great but the beef is not seasoned and tender enough. The salted egg fries and chicken wings are great. The laksa is terrific. The average level of food quality is great though.

Please note between 3pm to 5pm it's afternoon tea time with limited menu options

Okay, I have to admit I used to judge people who loved HK food because my impression of the food culture was like boiled macaroni and pieces of ham. Like where is the flavour???
Since then my friends have opened my eyes to the variety of HK food and this place has become of my must haves. The marinated bean curd(?) Chicken wings is absolutely bomb, juicy and flavourful. French toast with peanut butter is a must. I got the xo fried noodles with pork chops. The rest were dishes chosen by my family which I don't remember 🤣 warning: there can be a bit of a wait during peak times but it's not too long. Lastly, gotta wash down all these dishes with a lemon honey tea! (P.S. this is the chilli oil we all need - the garlic flavour is what I die for).

They have done this place up and it’s great! Ok it’s still very Hong Kong service (ie efficient but not helpful) but the food has gotten a lot better and having tried it back to back with Kowloon Cafe I think this has leapfrogged it.

Salty egg chicken wings are great. Hot pot rice has plenty of crust and ingredients. Fish ball noodle soup is good. No bad dishes from what we have tried will bring my folks next time.

First time here and not disappointed. Partner is from HK and he approved 🤣 loving the pineapple bun so good! Not so much the mango pudding (not enough mango flavour, maybe frozen?)

Great tasting Hong Kong food. Service lost points because I asked 3 times for a spoon before finally getting one. I understand that water is self service but when we asked where it was placed (other side of pillar to us) we got a condescending look which kind of ruined the experience.

I guess just know where the water is on your way in, was pretty cool to see the decor had a working arcade machine as well.

Hong Kong Bing Sutt just recently opened from its reno and its return is glorious! A wider menu offering not just its usual staple but MUCH MORE! So many new offerings to try. We came here for the afternoon tea sets and the portions and tastes are amazing for their value. Can’t wait to come back to try their new items!

As a Hong Konger I can guaranteed this is authentic HK food.
Had the 車仔麵 and 焗豬扒飯 (baked pork chop rice), both was really good :)
Will definitely visit again.

I have a thing for Hong Kong food. This is my go to place when I miss Hong Kong.

We had the spare ribs with rice, curry fish balls and spare ribs clay pot rice.

Clay pot rice is not easy to find in Australia and I’m glad this place has it!

Taste and authenticity is on point. Definitely feel like I’m in Hong Kong.

Absolutely beautiful. The stone pot rice 煲仔飯is superb. The rice is cooked evenly with tender sliced beef. The raw egg in the middle is used to mix with the rice and let the inner temperature cook it eventually. Remember to add the soy sauce around the edge and close the lid for extra five mins. Patient is key here!!! The satay beef egg sandwich is good, It would be better to have the bread toasted, otherwise the beef and egg will make the break soggy. Last but not least, the curry pork with instant noodles is fantastic too! Every single noodle is covered with sauce, generous amount of pork in this dish.
Overall it is a 99% authentic HK restaurant! Love it, keep it up.

A hidden gem in Burwood serving authentic Hong Kong cafe food. The baked pork chop rice/spaghetti in tomato sauce is so delicious, the pork chop is coated in honey and the tomato sauce is just right, not too sour or sweet. Claypot rice is a must try. Oh, have to try the scrambled egg sangas. The eggs just melts in your mouth

I do not normally go to a Hong Kong style restaurant. For 2 consecutive nights I was invited by a friend and I was delighted.

For the first night, we had 147 rice noodle roll, 144 curry fish ball & squid, 068 Satay beef instant noodle, 091 Tofu Fa, 124 7 Up with preserved lemon and 129 Sprite with vanilla ice cream

For the second night, we had 071 fried noodle with pork chop in chili garlic source, 207 create your own noodle + 221 deep fried fish skin, 004 french toast, 124 7 Up with preserved lemon and 105 Yuanyang (coffee mixed with mild tea)

This restaurant has a lot of very special Hong Kong style food and I will call it a restaurant with advanced Hong Kong style food menu.

The menu is not easy to read and it is highly recommended you spend a good deal of time (10-15 minutes) to understand what is behind the dish in order to order the best. Highly recommended!!

Missing travelling? Go travelling by eating 😅 you feel like you’re in HK when you sit in here as all the decor is reminiscent of that as well as the oldies songs playing in background. Food wise you get a wide variety of classics you’d expect to find in this style of eatery in HK - most of the stuff I’ve tried is pretty good. My partner likes their clay pot rice that he’s been missing haha be weary of wait times for table during busy periods (peak lunch and dinner times) but otherwise moves pretty quickly once you’re in. I like sitting in the booth style seats for full classic experience haha

The claypot dishes were tasty.
I ordered the Pork rib with chinese sausage clay pot (~$21).

The pork was juicy and tasty. The sausage was alright. The dish came also with a side of sauce you pour over the entire dish - which elevated the flavours.

Have been to Bing Sutt so many times and I love their food. Especially their scrambled egg series, rice noodle rolls and the red bean ice cream drink. Very homey taste. Food quality and service always nice.
