The personnel in Desert Garden are really nice. The first day we checked into a room with a broken air conditioner, but after asking for a change, we received a room upgrade with an Uluru view. We were then able to watch the sunrise and sunset, and we even received free drink vouchers. The room was good but the mattress was not. I could feel my partner's breath from the other side of the mattress. However, the good news was that we had two beds and merged them together. Also, the best restaurant is located on the premises.

I was quite impressed with the room, it was well furnished, comfortable and spacious.
The only criticism I would provide on the room was that the aircon was a bit underpowered and the room would still get a little warm from time to time.
The thermostat needs to give more control over the temperature.

The staff were all amazing and the grounds were well kept.

Comfy beds, clean room with good facilities. Large bottles of hand/ body lotion, hand/body wash, shampoo and conditioner in bathroom. Huge clean white fluffy towels.
Nice pool area with lounge chairs and umbrellas, plus a good shaded area. Plenty of towels available at the pool. Lovely gum trees in the grounds.
IGA within short walk for all grocery items.

Fantastic all around had a fantastic room 396 with breathtaking views each and every day of Uluru. The people who worked there at either the restaurant or the hotel on point 10/10 service. Close to everything and very affordable. Thanks for having me I highly recommend.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay here. Pricey for what it is but they have the benefit of there not being much competition. We ate the kangaroo at the restaurant in Desert Gardens and that was delicious. It's great you can use the pool, resturants etc of the other accomodation on the complex. Overally it has a slightl y weird vibe in the "town centre", probably just becaues it's build just for tourists. I'd recomend staying here for a visit to Uluru, reception staff were kind and helpful

I really love their Squid in the restaurant. Best squid to eat! I think they have best chef and team in the kitchen. And the restaurant also clean! Especially the bathroom. Love it!

A Resort Shuttle takes you every 20-25 minutes to the other hotels and restaurants.

They also offer a Hop on Hop off bus for AUD 49 and it takes to to the Uluru Sunrise and Sunset plus 2 other times.

The breakfast while pricey AUD 45 is very plentiful and varied.

I never had such soft skin or soft hair = the process are fantastic.

Restaurant good and rooms were adequate. Like the location in that the small commercial area was a short walk from the resort. This is an area plagued with the flies that make a net head covering essential.

I loved my stay at DGH. The staff on check in were super lovely and helped me with all the information I needed to get around. The room was 10/10 and enjoyed the aircon after a day of sweating in 35+ heat!

Stayed for a couple of night in Sept 2023. Front desk staff excellent. Room is very spacious with two large double bed. Only thing is Aircond fan speed is too high in the lowest setting so quite noisy. Temp was pleasant so we didnt use the aircond on the second night. We tried both the bistro and the grill. Portion in bistro is hugh and food is nice in both places. No free water in room.

This place not bad to stay, very happy it exists and is there. Had better time in this restaurant for breakfast and other meals because they have more vegetarian options. Had very good time recently visiting exquisite Uluru. The immigrant staff working here make it enjoyable and bring it up because they have better attitude that the penal collony Aussies.

Friendly staff 24/7. Perfect proximity to the Airport and all other precincts including restaurants and gift shop. Regular schedule of shuttle buses to accommodate for those who cannot walk far. Great signposting to help clients get on to correct tours at correct times. Both restaurants at the hotel - Manganta and Arnguli, serve delicious food albeit slightly more expensive than Sydney which is understandable as they are in a remote area. Rooms were tidy with appropriate furniture and regular top up of amenities. There is even a laundry provided in a common area for complementary usage (which is much welcomed as walking on red sand often taints clothing). The pool is regularly cleaned. Overall, a most satisfying stay which exceeded my expectations.

Everything was great at the Desert Gardens Hotel except the price. Quite expensive for an ordinary room.
View to Uluru was great and the restaurants are quite good. As expected, food an beverages are quite expensive.

Classy hotel with excellent service and great breakfast (sorry, didn't have any other meals). Fantastic room. Special mention goes to the breakfast bag for people who miss out on the meal in the hotel due to activities: By far the best bag we have ever received.
