Bellingen Riverside Cottages

Stunning location, right near the river bank. We stayed at Cottage 3, the largest one, and it was very comfortable. It has everything you need for a short or long stay. Small and big kids can do kayaking. Life jackets are available. Marg, the manager, is an amazing host, super friendly, and lovely to talk to. You will be warmly welcomed by a friendly dog, too.

The place was well located in natural environment. Our family enjoyed the Kayak along the river very much.

Marg was such a wonderful host, and the cottage was perfect. Thank you for having us and our dog. We felt very much at home and enjoyed the kayaking immensely.

My wife and I spent 3 lovely nights at Bellingen Riverside Cottage and can honestly say it was a delight. The cottage was secluded, nestled in bushland listening to all kinds of birds chirping away right on the banks of the Bellinger River.

Marg was so pleasant to deal with and made us feel right at home. She gave us some restaurant recommendations and some places to visit.

We would highly recommend Bellingen Riverside Cottage to anyone whose looking for a lovely stay.

Bellingen Riverside cottages are well appointed with fantastic views from each room. Marg and John are wonderful hosts the even pulled my car out after being bogged. Located close to town Sawtell and winery. Take an easy trip up Waterfall Way. The waterfalls are spectacular. A beautiful location with a stunning outlook. The hosts & their are dog are lovely, warm & welcoming. We stayed in Cottage 2 for our anniversary & it was perfect, really tastefully done with everything thought of for what you may need whilst staying. Close to town, but just on the edge for nice green space around you & green views. I highly recommend this as somewhere to stay, with a its great price, location & being a very comfortable space.

The very best of Bellingen. Secluded, lush, romantic hideaway just outside of town. We stayed in Cottage 3 which was spacious and beautifully appointed right down to the last detail. The double bed was super comfy and the view over the river and nearby farms.... WOW. They even made us up a welcome pack and adorned the cottage with Christmas decorations. What a wonderful stay. Snuck away for a 3 night getaway and must say we left most refreshed. Stayed in cottage 1 overlooking the river, the cottage was simplistic yet covered all the basics. Very comfortable bed, great water pressure, full cooking facilities with ample cookware and plates, small bar fridge. Air conditioned living area with ceiling fans in bedroom and lounge area. The cottages are 3km by car to the town centre or you can use the kayaks provided to paddle in. Probably not for those "precious " people that don't like the farm life and the insects and mooing cows that come with it but then that is part of the beauty of this place. A special thank you to Marg for taking the time to stop for a chat and provide some useful advice on things to do. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Bello Riverside Cottages and will be back without a doubt. Marg is delightful and was happy for us to take our doggie with us - he does come with references 😊 A short stroll down the pebbled track to the River where we waded in the water. Another lovely setting!

Wonderful, peaceful cabins with friendly hosts. Lots of bird life to observe, including black cockatoos.

An absolutely magical position right on the Bellingen River. Which us clean and inviting for a paddle or a swim. Plus dog friendly.
