Outback Bar

Pretty decent hotel bar attached to The Australian Pioneer Hotel.

Apparently you need to show your Room card before being served.

They explained it was because of the drinking problem there.

I didn't realize that the drinking problem in Australia was localized to the NT.

They have live music on Friday. One man band he did a good job.

The drinks are on the extortion side but what alcohol isn't in Australia.

Beer selection could be improved hint hint Alice Springs Brewing Co. You already got your Ginger beer on tap. 😉

I just went across there to check the place out, and they had a lovely band perform that arvo. I had a couple of drinks and enjoyed the music. Will certainly be going there for a meal. The staff were very attentive and did a great job whilst we were there.

Quite the experience near Uluru. We prepared our dinner, eat it and driven to our accommodation 75 km away. The place doesn’t serve alcohol on premises to outdoor patrons.

So this was a very interesting place. It's more like a DYI dinner. It's a butcher counter that you buy various meats from and then grill them yourselves! Plenty of grills no line. The meat selection was fantastic. I personally tried lamb, emu, and camel. The only thing they could have improved was there was no seasoning for the meat. I simply walked over to the salad bar ( which contained a variety of options as sides) and grabbed salt and pepper.

Awesomeness! Good food, great atmosphere, live entertainment, good bar and service. Nice night out!

Daughter loved cooking her own food. Then complimenting the chef throughout the meal. Live solo guitarist made a great atmosphere. Food stops at 21:00

A bar in to outback! Live music, heaters for when it’s cool, fans when it’s hot, great selection of drinks. You must be a guest of the resort or campground to purchase alcoholic drinks just don’t forget to take your permit and ID with you.

Great outdoor garden bar. Younger crowd but easy to get to and back on the roaming free bus

The drinks are on the pricey side but it has a great atmosphere, either a live band or DJ every night and a great little kiosk

Great place to park up and enjoy a cold one after a big day.

The only down fall with this place is covid restrictions which has reducedthe ampunt of workers attending the p.ace so they had to reduce the opening hours but once open you sit back and enjoy the hospitality
