Hertz Car Rental - Ayers Rock Downtown

I rented a car from Kylie at Dollar Car Rental, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked into the rental office, Kylie greeted me with a warm and friendly smile. Her professionalism and knowledge of the rental process were truly impressive.

Kylie went above and beyond to ensure that I had the perfect car for my needs not only was the car in excellent condition, but Kylie also made sure that I got the best car she had available. Her customer service skills were outstanding, and she made me feel like a valued customer. She was attentive, patient, and genuinely cared about my satisfaction. I was also impressed with the overall experience at Dollar Car Rental. The rental process was quick and efficient, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The car itself was comfortable and reliable, making my trip enjoyable and stress-free.

Marie from Hertz was such a pleasure to deal with and the complete opposite of a recent poor experience I had booking with Avis. Nothing was too hard for Hertz, we were able to collect the car much earlier than the booking time which was a big help. I just wanted to say a BIG thank you to most amazing service from Marie and the team at Hertz!! We came in late on a private flight and everything was shut down. There was no transport to town and everything online was booked out for accommodation. We had been flying for over 6 hours that day and the thought of spending the night on the airport floor was a thought which we did not want to comprehend. Thankfully the Hertz team were working late transporting cars and they came to our rescue! Not only did they help us to organise a vehicle but also got through to a hotel manager and arranged some accommodation for us. We will forever be truly thankful 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 Such amazing service!!! I will be booking Hertz as our preferred rental company in the future 😊

We were served by Todd who made us feel special. A very friendly guy who went the extra mile to help us and made us laugh. He was able to answer our questions. Great service and clean car at adorable prices.

We initially hired a car for 4 days to cover our initial stay in Uluru, the process was smooth and the staff at Uluru airport were amazing. Unfortunately I was caught in the whole PCR delayed result debacle and so my wife and kids took the car while I was stuck in Quarantine for a day. Marie (Uluru Hertz branch manager) was amazing and not only displayed a great amount of empathy but also helped to co-ordinate a set of children’s clothes and toys from the local community when our luggage was also left in Sydney. Marie continued to check in on us during the holiday and when we decided to extend our trip and drive up to Darwin she helped to co-ordinate everything, replacing our original car with a brand new one to ensure there would be no issues along the way. All in all this is the best hire car experience I’ve ever had and I would have no hesitation in recommending Hertz Uluru to anyone - the rates were the best in the area too!

The Agent behind the desk Marie was so professional but so friendly at the same time. Her knowledge and recommendations were very helpful. She was an absolute delight to do business with.

The staff at this office are fantastic. They went well above & beyond the call of duty to help us outside of their business hours. It made our holiday fantastic and we really appreciated it.

Friendly, quick and helpful staff

More expensive than Thrifty and Avis (perhaps because the cars available are of more premium range), but with the most availability of cars. We tried to rent a car on the day itself and got a 4WD for $150 for 24hrs with zero excess whereas Avis quoted $70 with $4000 excess.

The paperwork is quick and the best part about Hertz is that we can immediately pick up the car at Ayers Rock resort whereas other car hires have to pick up at the airport.

つまり、空港で借りるととても返却が面倒だったので、エアーズロックリゾート街のレンタカーを借りる予約をしました。
その後、ハーツから連絡いただき、同じ料金で空港で借りて、エアーズロックリゾートの街中に返却できると提案いただきました。とても助かりました。
返却も当日返却の予約なのに、翌日朝までに返せば良い、と融通のきくご提案。最高です。
満足なレンタカーでした。

ただ、残念なのは料金ですね。
観光地の価格だからある程度は仕方ありませんが、1日で3万円はやはり高いです。

Please be aware that there is no taxi or rideshare to bring you to the airport.

Friendly staff and good range of vehicle. Only problem was reimbursment of fees was not automatic but took over a week to hit account.

リゾートと空港の店舗は同じスタッフが行ったり来たりで運営している。両方で借りたが、空港の方が断然ストックが多くて選択肢も豊富。
キー返却は箱に入れるだけのラフ具合。

Terrible customer service, site manager incredibly rude. Left counter unattended for 45 minutes with no sign. Phone on counter to contact staff did not work. Rang national phone line who also could not contact staff. While waiting we saw Avis and Thrifty staff leave multiple times but always put a sign up. When told a sign would of been nice the location manager became rude and threatening to not give us a car. Our paperwork clearly stated pick up BEFORE 11 and the opening hours stating the branch closes at 11 but location manager insisted it was our fault for arriving too early. (Despite us being there in the locations opening hours).
Please put a sign up in future to prevent customers having to experience the anxiety and worry that something has gone wrong with their booking and when you forget to put your sign up, in future, instead of arguing with your customer a simple apology would of fixed the whole situation and been a positive outcome for all.

Very bad customer service. When I returned the car with the full petrol and showed to the lady who was on duty 28 January. She said all good. But finally $170 petrol fee charged from my credit card. I called the office and a girl answered and said they could not do anything. Do not hire from this company., they steal money from your credit cards

Staff at the counter did not want to do the walk through check upon the rental return even through there were two staff at the counter.

Avoid this service at all costs, they charged more than contracted due to fuel and other fees, even though I returned the vehicle with a full tank!
