Loved the Outback Lodge as soon as the free airport shuttle pulled up outside .
Reception staff were lovely - quick and personable. The whole place was completely refurbished this year and reopened in April.
My room was a short walk from reception - absolutely stunning room, superb facilities and patio doors opening on to a fabulous view of the outback.
Unpacked and took the frequent free shuttle to the resort centre, couple of minutes. Great places to eat, lots of free things going on - guided garden walks, outback yarns, disgereedoo lessons, you name it .....
Being picked up at 04-45 tomorrow to see the sun rise over the rock and to eat breakfast then a tour round the rock. Fabulous place. Highly recommended.

Super fun and reasonably priced place. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Mind you, they are bunk beds. Clean linens provided. Bathrooms were very clean and showers too. Food was very good...either order it cooked or select your meats and vegetables and grill them yourself. This place is the best deal in town...there are 3 other hotels...but you pay a ton of money per night.

Had a great trip here. I did upgrade from the 20 bed dorm as it was just too noisy with people going to bed late and alarms going off at 4am for sunrise tours. A great budget option but not for me. Upgraded to a great room!
Bbq was a good option as was the kiosk, expensive but everything is up there. Would stay again.

Let's see, the rooms are fantastic very modern, air-conditioner works extremely well.
The pool is very nice, lots of swim area and plenty of seats and tables. That may be different in peak times
The lookout is just across the road.
The food was very nice, I ate at the outside eatery . Overall a very nice experience.

Lovely rooms, great bathroom! Clean and quiet. Didn't use other facilities as we went to the night drone show nearby but the pool looked refreshing and inviting!

Outback Hotel and Lodge - Outstanding Experience!

Our stay at the Outback Hotel and Lodge was nothing short of amazing! Tanaya, the manager, went above and beyond to ensure our visit was unforgettable. Her dedication to guest satisfaction was truly commendable.

The accommodations were cozy and comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploration. The highlight, however, was the delightful merchandise – we couldn't resist taking a piece of the Outback home with us.

We can't recommend the Outback Hotel and Lodge enough. Tanya and her team made our stay truly exceptional.

Warm regards,
Andrew

Thankyou! I enjoyed my recent stay at the Outback Hotel and Lodge. Well priced - helpful staff. Clean, comfortable, modern units. Great pumping crowd and atmosphere nightly with live guitar playing vocalist in the spacious, entertainment, bar, eatery area.

Not a fan of hostels but this was very nice. Breakfast is a bit expensive but has a lot of stuffs so it's worth it. Swimming pool too cold. Rooms are fine and the place is quiet

Standard rooms are very good value for money. Clean, great housekeeping with newly renovated modern bathrooms that come with a powerful hair dryer . The beds were also very comfortable. Plenty of parking, no stairs and easy access. There’s also dining options within the lodge with a bar that offers live music most nights. Good atmosphere.

Recent refurbishment of bedrooms has been well done. Food good and just a great place to recoup after a day in the outback.

Affordable and budget friendly lodge/hostel style accommodation at $38.00 per night in Yulara. Parking available. Separate female and male dorms with comfortable beds. Fresh towels everyday! Small locker and light next to bed. No individual power sockets but a few running along the corridor which can be inconvenient. Clean bathroom and showers. Not the best camp kitchen around for the size of the lodge. There's fridges, a microwave, and a couple of stoves. Plenty of seating. Lunch and dinner options available. A very short walk around the back takes you up to a viewing platform where you can see Uluru. Also a very short 10 minute walk to the local IGA and cafes. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for an amazing place to stay.

Units all on ground level. Beds are comfortable. Food is expensive but considering we're in the middle of nowhere, we're a captive clientele.

Cheapest resort in the area still costs you $360 a night. The room comes with free airport pick up, free parking, tea and coffee, a kettle for hot water, cups and glasses, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, soap, shower cap and towels

It’s expensive but relatively cheap compared to other resorts in the area. I enjoyed staying at the Outback Pioneer

The room may not be luxurious, but it had everything I needed for my stay, which was essentially a bed to sleep in, a few creature comforts and heating (we travelled in winter).

I can not rave about the staff and hospitality enough! My 4 year old son woke up sick in the middle of the night on our last night, I spoke with reception who ensured we had everything we needed and put us in touch with the right people. They got us safely to the medical centre the following morning to see the after hours nurse and allowed us to rest in our room past check out time whilst waiting for the shuttle to the airport (after my son was cleared to travel). They ensured someone came for our bags and checked on us regularly to see if they could be of any further assistance. In a stressful situation, they made me feel supported and cared for and made my son smile despite the situation.

Every staff member we interacted with was hospitable and smiling. A few different food options on location or you can take a short shuttle (free) or walk to one of the other hotels within the resort.
I would stay here again in a heartbeat, hopefully we will be back ! Thank you for everything!
