I had a working lunch at The Eate and I was very impressed by the quality of the food. Everything was fresh, seasoned well and good portion.
The coffee was great. Will be back as a regular!

Came here on reading the great reviews and recommendations. And they were correct. Very tasty food and coffee. The wagu burger was one of the best tasting burgers I have had. Also tried the sticky date pudding and it was very yummy. We will be back again. Definitely recommended.

Hands down the best burger place in Sydney. Had the lamb on wedges, the Eate Co burger, the Eate Mac, and these huge $1 chicken wings the waiter told us were today's special. No criticisms for any of the dishes, they were amazing. Burgers had so much flavour, especial the Eate Co with this sweetness from the tomatoes and pickles. The lamb wedges were so good, wish there was more of the tzatziki sauce but it was just delicious. Would definitely come back with more friends to reorder these dishes and try some new ones. Only wish I earned more money to spend more here. So happy I live so close to this restaurant now.

It was a quiet Monday. But the soccer was on so there was a buzz. Takeaway arrived quickly and as always the food was awesome. You have to try the spiced eggplant chips, the chicken and the pita wraps.

Good food, service was a bit slow but good. Braised Lamb and chips, caused chips to be soggy, may be a better way to serve this delicious meal

The staff were really fantastic. The burger I had was very filled. The raspberry lemonade was very refreshing. Wedges with lamb could have been more selective with the lamb. The fried cauliflower was fresh and full of flavour.

The Eate Restaurant located on 555 New Canterbury Road Dulwich Hill NSW

if you love burgers esp beef burgers then this is the place to be...

we ordered Eate Co. and The Rooster

well Eate Co. as the name is special. very juicy beef patty with pastrami and melted cheese makes it tastes so yummy.

on the other hand The Rooster is grilled chicken with cheese and peri peri tastes nice..

for starters we had Egg Plant chips and Potato shoestring with Truffle pecorino. not a fan of egg plant but the chips tasted so crispy and nice.. you will taste mint parsley and hint of pomegranate..

Tried Potato Shoestring 1st time and loved it. crispy layer from outside but soft filling inside..

for drinks we had
Raspberry Lemonade and Strawberry Chamomile Caprioska

both the drinks were different and nice.. you can taste pinch of lemon oranges and mint ofcourse along with strawberry and raspberry

highly recommended place for Burger lovers...

We came here as restaurant had a very good reputation and boy were we in for a treat. The waiter immediately recognised us when we arrived at the front door and ushered us to our table with haste. The menu and the food we had were both beautifully designed. The four of us shared a yummy 3-courses meal together and had a great time.

If you still on the fence, definitely give this hidden gem of a place a try. You won't be disappointed

Bought Groupon voucher for the burger, it was one of the best burger combo I ever had in Sydney. It was cheap and the staff here is so helpful and nice. The location can be reached easily by light train, and the atmosphere is comfy. Will go here again with my family if I have the chance. I tried the grand eatest, this golden square are the fried nelty cheese, you can imagine how tasty this burger is.

Visited here on a coupon a few days ago, the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Picked up two burgers with fries, salad and drinks.

We polished off the chips very quickly I didn’t get a chance to take a photo. We picked the Angus Smoked Beef Brisket burger and Truffle Burger. Red thoroughly enjoyed the Brisket burger, the large slices of beef were tender and delicious. It also came with a generous amount of pickles.

I demolished the Truffle burger. The patty was cooked nicely and the pastrami works really well with the mayo and cheeses.

The Eate isn’t licensed but the offer a nice selection of mocktails. We picked the pink lemonade which was also really nice. It does have oranges in it for those with allergies.

I will definitely be back to try more of their burgers, smoked meats and desserts which looked good.

Back to Sydney after two years living in Brisbane, and The Eate was top top in my must-visit places. Perfect as usual. Chikita burger was my favorite before, though is now removed from their menu, they kindly made it for us.

A dynamic, fun, good-food eatery, highly recommended. Great service and wide-choice menu. I chanced on The Eate when staying in Dulwich Hill, and what a wonderful coincidence that was. Just loved the place - ambience, service, cleanliness. Meals are cooked to perfection and attractively presented. I chose the lamb with a beetroot salad - fabulous and huge! Seating of different types, from groups to intimate.
The 'industrial' look of the place captures the history of Dulwich Hill, which boomed in the Federation period and has many brick houses of that period. The suburb is undergoing gentrification, hence 'The Eate'.

We've driven past this place SO many times always meaning to go in and finally stopped off. We're so glad we did because it's actually
1 - a nice setting
2 - pretty sure it's a family only run business as we had kids (literally like 13 year old kids) serving us
3 - got GREAT food.

Check out the pics and menu. There's a great selection of giros and other dishes that were looking forward to testing out.

The giros /yiros was spilling out of the wrapping (in a good way) and had some amazing flavours to it. I got the calamari yiros - so freaking yummy. My partner got a pasta, lamb ragout, eggplant based dish which was really yummy!
Prices are also not too exorbitant. Great setup!

I do this thing where I finish off with the best tasting dish ordered ... It was the yiros for me this time.

Everything here is excellent. Got the Groupon deal for 2 for $29. Definitely worth it. Good portion and we were stuffed. The yiros are definitely the highlights. We tried the authentic lamb and calamari yiros. Lamb is tender and juicy, calamari is fresh and crispy and the chips are still hot and fresh.

Wow what a great place to eat! And I finally got around to going, and so far I have had a good experience with the friendly staff and the food, well the milkshake so far (pic 1), the outdoor seating area is trendy, despite or maybe because, it is on a fairly busy road, (pic 2)and the inside of the kitchen area looks fantastic. (pic 3) and the food is 5 star(pic 4). So it's rare for me to give a 5 star rating, but this one is on the money. Good job The Eate cafe/resteraunt!

Very friendly staff and good food. Lamb loaded wedge is a must. We went there quite a few times before finding out that they had a group on voucher. You can get a same quality food with a cheaper price with group on voucher.
The staff was very informative on their menu.
