Roselea Public School

Our kids have thrived at Roselea, the teachers are great, and the school community is really lovely. The grounds have plenty of trees, there are lots of different outdoor spaces where the kids can play, and the new COLA means the kids can still play outside when it's raining. While the school's academic performance is strong, kids have lots of opportunities to get involved in other areas like sport and creative arts. We've always been really happy at Roselea, but the school has become even better in recent years.

This school has so many positives. A few of the standout things about this school include: outstanding leadership, passionate teachers, respectful students, large outdoor play/learning areas, inclusive culture, and strong community feel. I am so glad we chose this school for our son where his individuality is celebrated and his passion for learning is well supported.

My son's school experience has been positively transformed since transferring here from another local school over 12 months ago. The students are friendly, kind and inclusive while the teachers are approachable, dedicated and driven to provide a quality education for their students. A fabulous school!

I used to go here and met some of my best friends there. The kids that were there not too long ago were really nice and the school itself felt so natural. The teachers were amazing and always helped me with anything. The principal was always away somewhere so the deputy principal was doing stuff. I absolutely loved it all the time I was there.

Edit: I read some other reviews and found out that they're hiring a new principal.

Ignore reviews prior to 2021 as this school has had a significantly positive turnaround. Academic results are up (as per NAPLAN), staff turnover at senior levels has stabilised, and the school generally feels like it is improving each year. Facilities are great for a public school (no demountables, plenty of play space, fantastic canteen, large grassy oval) and the parent community is engaged and supportive.

It’s a great school. Not overcrowded as some of the other schools in the neighbourhood. My kid loves it and has a great community vibe.

Our boys go to Roselea PS. So far it’s been a great experience for them and for us. We have been recommending the school to our friends.

Roselea hires a new prinicpal this year. He is really friendly who greets at the gate every morning and afternoon. I really appreciate the class teacher of my son. He gave valid comments about my son's school performance. After our arrival from Hong Kong, my son entered this school. I am so glad that he is happy everyday since the first day at this school.
