From the moment we booked our wedding photography with Dean we were impressed. Living in Sydney and getting married on the North Coast meant that we needed professional vendors that were on the ball through every step of the planning process. Dean did not fail to amaze. His communication was always friendly, prompt and comprehensive. From the very beginning we knew that Dean was committed to making our wedding day the happy and relaxed celebration that we had envisaged.

We met Dean in person for our engagement shoot and immediately felt at ease. Dean’s creative and natural style teamed with his impeccable attention to detail assured us that we had booked an exceptional photographer to capture our special day. When we received our engagement photographs we were blown away. Details such as the wooden box and customised USB are all features that reflect Dean’s passion and commitment to providing his clients with outstanding photography.

On the morning of our wedding day, Dean promptly arrived at the cottage where we were getting ready and set to work immediately. He seamlessly blended in to our preparations, capturing every laugh, conversation and special moment shared with our loved ones. Dean knew what he was doing and had a thorough understanding of exactly which shot to get, where to get it and when. He cleverly captured the love and excitement we were all feeling ahead of the ceremony.

At the ceremony and reception, Dean was outstanding. He shot a range of photos, from portraits, to family and group shots and many stunning, intimate shots of Luke and I and our bridal party. When we received our photos, we were just so incredibly happy. The formal shots were tied in so beautifully and tastefully with natural photos of our guests laughing and enjoying their time at our wedding. We absolutely loved that Dean took photos of all our guests, both posed and in the moment.

Dean skillfully shot photos of Luke and I as the Bride and Groom while still highlighting our personalities and love and happiness we shared with each other and all our guests on our wedding day. He absolutely nailed it.

If you are looking for a wedding photographer that goes above and beyond, you have found him. Dean is incredible. We received our photos so quickly, and they were just remarkable. I could not believe how well he captured our perfect day. The way he so effortlessly framed and and highlighted key features in photos was beautiful. Dean is so easy to work with, very flexible, and makes you feel very comfortable. By the end of the evening it was as if he was part of the family, everyone felt so comfortable around him, which made for some really lovely and authentic photographs. His personality, matched with his incredible natural talent make him the obvious choice. We could not recommend him enough, he is definitely value for money, and will not disappoint.

My wife and I wanted to have our wedding day captured to remember forever. We contacted Dean and from the start he was very accommodating and professional with helping us make our decision on what we would need to make capturing our special day a reality.

Where do I start with Dean. From our first meeting I could tell he was a friendly, dedicated, professional photographer and I knew he was the guy for our wedding photos. For the 6hrs we paid him for he did not waste a single second!!! Constantly snapping something and everything. He made everyone feel so comfortable and made it so fun for everyone too. My partner hates posing for photos but he had the most fun of all because of Dean. Dean doesn't force you to do poses you dont want to do and listens to your ideas. And he has THE BEST EYE for the background/lighting of every photo!!! All of my photos are spectacular and the compliments just don't stop. Of all the vendors who helped me with my wedding Dean was by far the most outstanding and the one I could not have got married without. Also I've never seen so many photos that have caught emotion before but his work has captured so many emotions its like reliving the day. Basically Dean is incredible at what he does and he is a perfectionist so you get what you paid for, well more really as his service is remarkable. Thanks for everything Dean, I will be recommending you to EVERYONE!

My name is Brett Daniels , myself and my brother Glenn and sister Karen hired Dean to take a family portrait with my elderly parents as we had never had one taken . Cannot be more thankful that we managed to have Dean take our wedding photos. After travelling 16 hours from Broken Hill to Ballina for our wedding, the last thing we would have needed would have been for our photographer to be less than impressive.

I cannot recommend Dean enough - if you need a photographer do not hesitate to book him! We had Dean photograph our wedding on Saturday 5th October 2019 and the photos we received today (less than a week after the wedding!) were beyond magical - beautifully composed and edited photos we will treasure forever.
He has such an eye for photography and choosing beautiful locations, for capturing emotions and the special little moments between people, and all the little details in between. We have 2 little children (7 month old and 2.5 year old) and he knew just how to make them interact with the camera (even when they weren't cooperating) so we got some truly special family photos.
From the very first email conversation I had with him, he has been nothing but professional, genuine and helpful.
On the actual day he was so easy to get along with and made everyone feel so comfortable.
