Old Bar Beach

Very nice beach with very clean, modern toilets. Running water. Place to park and shops nearby to buy something to eat. Also a great coffee shop if you're really into decent coffee. At Buyi where you can sit outside among the trees sipping your coffee. There is a playground near the carpark, but, I am sure kids would just love to run around in the sand and water a lot more.

Well monitored by lifeguards. Pleasant gentle surf (today anyway). Beach goers and swimmers easy-going and considerate. Very good facilities: parking, loos, shower, picnic area and playground.

Great for our hound friends! Slightly rocky sand, but a beautiful place to rest and hang out with our furry friends.

The water was so warm I didn't want to get out very refreshing excellent

Beautiful place (where I use to live) Come on in and explore with lots of cafes and restaurants. Fuel station, bottle shop, doctors, chemist, beach park with public toilets and of course that beautiful beach down the end of the main drag... 😊💖🌊😎👍🐶

First time walking on the beach in yrs. What a stunning spot. Easy parking and a small path leading onto the beach. Great that we could walk our leashed dogs on the beach. Sand golden and beautiful. Heaps to see, surfers, coloured stones along etc.
Worth a trip, just to experience this. Hardly anyone on the beach July.

Water a bit chilly however; once in it was delightful.

A stunning location. The beach appears dog and family friendly. Great waves. Very nice clean sand. Huge amount of interesting rocks for kids and adults to marvel at. Come and spend a day. Come and spend a moment. Each will bless you.
Old bar itself is a small and beautiful township located on the mid north coast. All the normal issues are important, hat, suncream, water. Bring your own. There is a lively set of takeaway and eatery shops in two small areas birth and south of the beach. And heading by car into the Wallabi point national park is also well
Worth it.

Awesome view long beach

Beautiful long beach with firm sand for a long walk and plenty of rocks and shells for beach combing. Lots of surfers suggests great surf. Plenty of parking and picnic and play areas make it a great family spot

A magic location with good fishing & swimming.

Amazing place,untouched and still has this ruggedness about it. Not crowded through the week,lot's of parking and great playground for kids, good small waves for beginner surfers

Love Old Bar Beach one of the best

Beautiful beach and a good for long walks. Take away blowfish right by the beach too. Perfect spot to grab a coffee and enjoy the ocean.
