Australia Post - Bentons Square Post Shop

I had to send a parcel to the USA this morning, the 2 ladies (50's) l dealt with were great, helpful, polite, nothing was a problem, well done ladies!!!

Place was quiet when I went in for a book of stamps, and I didn’t have to wait and the lady was very helpful.

The most genuine and nicest people, I recently started a business and they have helped me so much with making sure the postage process came as smooth as possible!

Lovely, helpful staff. Couple of post boxes available for rent.

Never had an issue with my post but am always feeling very flat and deflated after talking with the ladies behind the desk as 9/10 the service is extremely poor and people look like they really don't want to be there dealing with the public.

Slowest service of any australia post i have every been into. At lunch time they only had 2 ladies on to serve ten customers. Every time i have been in there the public are waiting and frustrated. If they arent gas bagging to one another they are being abrubt with the public. Please get some men behind the counter, it feels like a CWA convention.

Terrible . How can they have an after hours service that started at 7am , change it to 8 am (but not on their Collection Cards)? This morning I arrive with a long line in front of me , for an 8am
Open , only to be told by a passer by that’s it’s now 830 am . Nothing on the door to reflect this and pretty pointless as the early opens are for people that cannot get to the post office during business hours to collect .

Telephoned to enquire if they had a passport service. Obviously the number phoned was a Central Office so listened to the recorded messages/alternatives (none of which were relevant to my enquiry) the n received the how busy message and waited and waited then hung up in frustration

During my recent visit to this post office, I encountered a few challenges that could be addressed to enhance the overall customer experience. The staff, unfortunately, came across as somewhat rude and condescending, which created an unwelcoming atmosphere.

Additionally, the service was slower than expected, possibly due to a lack of experience or confidence among the employees. These issues contributed to a less than ideal experience at this particular location.

However, I would like to suggest that potential customers consider visiting the alternative post office on Bay Road in Mt Martha, which may provide a more pleasant experience. As for this location, with proper staff training and a focus on customer service, it has the potential to improve and create a more positive environment for patrons.
