Dr Sugandha Kumar

Dr Kumar, has been my Gyno for the past few years. She delivers amazing services, she is very compassionate and understanding. Has been very helpful with tackling my personal issue and she had amazing care with my recent operation & post care.

She is certainly a very Warm, open, and caring professional.

Sugandha was an incredible source of support, guidance and expertise during our first pregnancy (as well as being a lovely person.) I would highly recommend her services.

Dr Sugandha Kumar is an amazing OB. She provided us with the best care throughout my pregnancy and birth. She is kind and friendly. She always took time to listen to my concerns and she never rushed me, even when it went past her working hours on one occasion.

Because this was my first pregnancy, I was scared of childbirth and the pain involved but she encouraged me to trust myself so I was able to look forward to childbirth with confidence and excitement rather than fear.

She came to deliver my baby at midnight and the midwife told me she had called the hospital several times before to check on me. I am sure she was tired after work and pretty sure she didn’t sleep that day. Still, she came to see me next day again. Her dedication to her work amazed my husband and me.

I should also add that her secretary/medical administrator Terri was extremely helpful and patient with me. The receptionists at Vermont consulting suite were very polite and friendly and always greeted us with a warm smile.

I had a positive birth experience thanks to Dr Sugandha. I highly recommend her.

Dr Kumar is an asset to the obstetrics profession. Her compassion and care throughout our pregnancy journey was second to none and made us feel very safe and well cared for. She shares the whole adventure with you and you can see how much joy the job brings her. She tailored her care to suit us and our baby, and spent all the time she needed to answering our questions or reassuring us. The delivery went smoothly and both my husband and I knew we were all in safe hands. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough.

I am very lucky to meet Dr. Kumar. No long to wait my fibroid surgery, and very successful. It has changed my life. I just came back from my “scuba diving” holiday overseas. It’s been a very huge “ success “ and a life changer since I met Dr Kumar !!!

I could not recommend Dr Kumar higher! She is professional, caring and compassionate. I really felt like she truly cared for me and I was not just "another number/patient". She explained things clearly to both myself and my partner and ensured he was involved in our pregnancy journey. Dr Kumar and her clerical staff go over and beyond and no question that is asked is deemed as silly or too much to be answered. Again I highly recommend and will continue to see her for anything Obs/Gyn related.10/10 Gold star treatment/service.

I saw Dr Kumar for my first pregnancy last year and she is a very caring, attentive OB who takes the time to explain things clearly and listen to all our questions and concerns. She also made time to see me at short notice when required. Thanks Dr Kumar.

I saw Dr Kumar twice in the span of 1 year. The first time she made suggestions to lose weight to fix my pelvic pain and said I was too young for a laparoscopy. I am 21. The second time she finally agreed to a laparoscopy, putting me down as category 3. I saw another gynaecologist a few months later to get a second opinion, where she empathised and told me that a laparoscopy was definitely necessary and I was not too young, she also said nothing about my weight causing these issues and suspects endometriosis. I decided to ring Dr Kumar’s office and check if there were any updates as 2 months ago I rang to check the price of a laparoscopy through her. No one had gotten back to me until today, when I called to then hear that Dr Kumar never gave me any paperwork to do the laparoscopy or mentioned it. So here I was apparently on a “waitlist” to get this surgery done and turns out my paperwork was never even processed. Totally upsetting and frustrating experience, glad I chose to get another opinion. Wouldn’t recommend Dr Kumar for these matters.

Performed a surgery on my partner, of which she did the incorrect surgery to what she said she was going to do, and completely misdiagnosed her.
And after going to another gynaecologist (who trained Dr Kumar) said she probably only did it for the money as it was quick cash to her.
After the surgery she moved her out of the hospital the same day, didnt even give her time to recover. Since then has avoided phone calls and emails and keeps blaming the patient, tells her to toughen up, the pain isn't really that bad.
Clearly does not care about her patients and is only after the money, don't go see her. Go see someone who cares and listens to your needs

Do not get Dr Kumar to perform laparoscopy for Endometriosis
