Mudgee Guesthouse

This place is a hidden gem. The property is wonderful, and the amenities are spot on.
The hosts Phil and Brigitte are simply the best, from the moment you walked through the door to the foyer you were welcomed in like old friends.
The breakfast in the morning was just fantastic and the hosts also sat and had a chat if you wanted, so an easy morning breakfast took a most enjoyable 2 hours.
Most importantly, they have a gorgeous greyhound called Trevor, what a friendly handsome boy he is.
This was the most relaxing, enjoyable visit to a guesthouse we have had for a long time.
Could not rate higher. Just Perfect.

Mudgee Guesthouse offers quiet, spacious, comfortable bedrooms and living areas, and the hosts, Brigitte and Phil, are warm and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they go out of their way to help.
Breakfast and coffee is a highlight! And if you still need more to relax, I can recommend a remedial massage by Brigitte.
Plus a wine, cheese and olive tour, what more could you want?
So good, we stayed an extra night!

My husband and I have just had the pleasure of spending 3 great days at the very lovely Mudgee Guesthouse.
What a delightful stay with amazingly friendly and accommo - dating hosts - Brigette and Phill
Our room was spacious and very comfortable with a lovely outlook over the rose garden . Our hosts were exceptional - warm and friendly but never intrusive. Nothing seemed to be a bother.
Breakfast was excellent and each day it was different and a great attention to dietary needs was given.
The home is spacious but also warm and welcoming with a beautiful ambient aroma - either from the lovely massage room, the fresh roses everyday or the beautiful products they use around the home - all adding to the relaxing feel of the place.
We can't wait to get back.
Although we didn't avail ourselves of the many "extras" on offer - winery tours, electric bike hire or massage - this break was just what we needed. It was our first trip away in quite some time and the first after the loss of my beautiful Mum.

We stayed over the Australia Day long weekend… wonderful friendly hosts with plenty of tips for in and around Mudgee… Yummy breakfast was provided each morning.

The property was clean, spacious with plenty of room to relax inside and out with a refreshing pool awaiting us each afternoon.

We will definitely stay here again should we visit Mudgee again …

We had a great time at the Mudgee Guesthouse. Comfortable with everything you would need for a delightful getaway. Brigitte and Phil were wonderful hosts. A very stylish place to say - probably the best in Mudgee. And delicious breakfasts.

We were a group of 8 retirees who travel together annually. Mudgee Guesthouse was by far the best getaway yet in our 20 years of travel. The home is absolutely spotless and luxurious and perfect for a large group.
Bridgette & Phill are excellent hosts and we felt right at home immediately. Breakfasts were a real treat each morning with fresh home grown produce, including eggs and honey. It was a very relaxed atmosphere and Bridgette & Phill very welcoming and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Phil & Brigitte are the most exceptional hosts at the Mudgee Guesthouse. Their breakfast was delicious, the wine tour was above and beyond and the location of the guesthouse is spectacular, as it was close to the markets and the shops in the main town. What we loved about the breakfast is that they only used fresh produce from their garden, which you cannot find anywhere else. It was perfect. They are so friendly, had great conversations with them and knew a lot of history about Mudgee and recommended places on where to go. Their facilities were great and they had a telescope where you could stargaze at night. Me and my wife cannot wait to book again later this year as we loved it so much. Thank you so much Phil and Brigitte for hosting us, will see you again soon.

Mudgee Guesthouse is a wonderful place to reset. Brigitte prepared and cooked sumptuous breakfasts, and the common areas had so many lovely artisitic flourishes - overall a serene ambience (although I did stay here during a tourism downtime, which was my aim). Highly recommend Mudgee Guesthouse to anyone looking to refresh and renew.

Gorgeous modern guest house with all the amenities possible.
Beautiful room & bathroom.
Incredibly spacious kitchen, multiple lounge areas and lovely outdoor seating and pool.
Brigitte & Phil were the perfect hosts and ensured our comfort and privacy in an unobtrusive way.
Food was absolutely delicious, homemade bread and Jams- honestly the best jam I’ve ever tasted, (and I get my jam imported from the Queens jam maker in the UK)
Only lost a star because we’re Netflix fans and the TV was limited, other than that a perfect stay & trip and we’ll return.

Mudgee Guesthouse was the perfect place to stay in Mudgee while our family attended a wedding. The hosts were fabulous, welcoming & knowledgeable about the area. Phil even dropped us to the wedding! Breakfasts were absolutely delicious made with home grown produce & care. The room was spotless & spacious & the lovely pool was an added bonus. Plenty of space to relax in the shared areas too. The location was also perfect. Can’t recommend it enough! Thanks Bridgitte & Phil for a memorable stay.

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at this delightful guesthouse. Bridgitte and Phill are wonderful hosts and their genuine hospitality makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk through the door. Bridgitte's breakfasts are delicious and we really enjoyed Phill's Wine Tour - a great day out. We would not hesitate to recommend the Mudgee Guesthouse to all our friends and anyone visiting the area.

Phill and Brigitte are the perfect hosts, from the moment we arrived they were extremely welcoming and made you feel completely at home. The fine details throughout the guesthouse are stunning. Home cooked breakfast was delicious and once again the fine details outstanding. The location is excellent, very handy to town and wineries, we could have walked to quite a few places but the weather was unpredictable, hopefully next time we will be able to walk and maybe try the E-Bikes as well We will definitely go back to Mudgee Guesthouse one day.

My partner and I had a great stay at Brigitte and Phil’s house. The room with an ensuite bathroom has all the ameneties and more. We enjoyed rhe electric blanket as the night still gets chilly earlly September. There are 3 common areas that the guests can enjoy and shared with others, all cozy areas to seat, read, chat next to a wood fire. We loved the guesthouse concept as during breakfast, we all shared what to visit or to buy in Mudgee.
Last but not least, Brigitte and Phil are great hosts, attentive to details and the well-being of their guests.

Our 3rd stay at Mudgee Guesthouse ... this time we brought friends. Once again we were not disappointed! Comfortable rooms which are tastefully decorated, and the most delicious breakfast each morning cooked by Brigitte and Phill. Another informative and enjoyable wine tour of local wineries with Phill, which also included a cheese tasting, and tastings of pomegranate products, finishing off with a delicious lunch. After the tour, a chance to relax in the beautiful garden of Mudgee Guesthouse. To view the tasteful decor of the guesthouse is an absolute delight. Thank you Phill & Brigitte!

Stunning place to stay with several families within close proximity to town. In house massages and daily cooked breakfast were a hit! Thanks Brigitte and Phil!

The hosts Phil and Bridgette were amazing. Lovely down to earth people with great knowledge of the local area. Breakfast which was included was fantastic. Their guest house is soo comfortable and also very private if that’s what you want or socialising with other guests is also very nice. Would highly recommend staying here. Can’t wait to go back.

A great place to stay on the outskirts of Mudgee. Accessible to the Wineries, wine tours also available if you would prefer.

We stayed 4 nights and had a great opportunity to look around Mudgee and its surrounds. Such a beautiful location and within striking distance of Sydney and the Central Coast. Brigitte and Phill went the extra mile and proved to be exceptional hosts providing the little details that make the experience more memorable. Homemade jams and breads with a lovely breakfast each morning set us off each day. Really enjoyed ourselves - highly recommended.

Perfect stay. Brigitte and Phil wonderful hosts; nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful king room with views to the garden. Fantastic breakfasts. Complimentary wine tour was a bonus as no one needed to drive and we could just enjoy the day - arrived back to the guesthouse to the best scones straight out of the oven.
