Margaret River Bed and Breakfast

Loved our 2 night stay at Margaret River Bed and Breakfast! Dirk and Pam were so helpful and accommodating. Thought has gone into every detail and the rooms are very comfortable with a fabulous spa bathroom. The location is quiet but very accessible to the area. Thank you so much!

Quiet island inside the forest. Nice rooms with luxurious bathrooms attached. Good breakfast and a local guide giving you tips for the day while having a nice chat.
If you're looking for an anonymous, corporate-professional type of hotel, you're probably better off elsewhere because this is an actual B&B: friendly, welcoming and trusting. If you want to feel a little at home while exploring the area, this is you.

Quiet retreat, 10 minutes from the town, and 5 minutes from the beach. Great amenities, and breakfast. The honey was superb....they have beehives on the property....yum!

My husband and I stayed at this exquisite B & B for three nights. We could not fault this amazing establishment. Dirk our host has a wealth of knowledge and advised us on all things Margaret River Region. You could not choose a better place to stay in this lovely part of Western Australia. The Breakfast was amazing with Dirk’s own bees supplying the honey. A must to experience.

Dirk has been a great host, helping us to navigate which wineries and sightseeings to see given the limited time we have to explore margaret river.

The B&B itself is lovely and has its charm that made us feel the homey atmosphere. Breakfast menu has been abundant and lovely.

The only thing maybe that we’d like to address is the mattress of the bed. As a person who enjoys firm mattress, this lovely B&B maybe could refresh a bit of its room with new mattress - although the one that we had also works just fine.

We booked a two night stay with a place we never heard of, and it turned out to be the best thing we ever did. The place is very well thought out and caters for all. We are at the moment sitting on our private patio and enjoying one of the best possible forrest views in the Margaret River region.
The place is magical, no other word for it.
Very clean spacious room, the ensuit is well equipped, not to mention the hugest spa bath, what we enjoyed nightly.
The owners are very friendly and helpful. Amazing breakfast is on the menu as well.
Huge thanks for the best relaxing weekend getaway to Mr & Mrs B&B and of course they pet dog, Bonnie. They made our 38th wedding anniversary unforgettable.

Comfortable large lounge and a welcome drink, lovely garden and clean room. Breakfast is so many variety of foods including fruit, bread, juice, cereals, ham and cheese.
Their dog brownie is cute and friendly too.

Spacious room with very comfy bed and pillows; huge bath looking into forest garden with pretty wildflowers and birds. Superb breakfast with fresh eggs laid on the property and many other options including hiking snacks. Dirk was a perfect host.

I was a nice days here, it he places was clean and smell delicious. The bed was big and comfortable. I love all details during breakfast, many options like bread, fruit, cereal, yogurt, and many this product are done made at home.
Dirk is so gentleman host, always with many suggestions to do there. I love stayed here. I will back for sure.

As a young solo traveller, staying in a place like this is normally out of my budget, but I ended up making a last-minute booking and stayed at this B&B for two nights, and it was one of the best decisions I've made on my trip so far! The location is quiet, beautiful and serene. The rooms and entire building are kept incredibly clean and have a lovely relaxed atmosphere about them. Dirk and Pam are two truly great hosts who care a lot about their guests and are full of knowledge on things to do in the area, no matter what it is you're looking for. The buffet breakfast was absolutely top class, featuring lots of delicious homemade bread, fresh fruit, plant-based milk options, coffee, herbal teas and they even make their own honey on-site! The complimentary glass of wine on arrival is also a lovely touch. I wish I could stay for two more nights!

This was a great private retreat. The WA wild flowers were right at our door step! Great rooms, ideal quiet space to get away and back to nature.

Clean, comfortable and beautiful rooms. Lovely, quite location. Breakfast was delicious with the homemade breads and honey from their own bees. Pam and Dirk are lovely people and very helpful. Dirk spent time telling us about places to visit and eat in. We initially intended to stay only one night but extended our stay since we loved it so much.

I love this B&B. They have beautiful room, warm living room and for breakfast they have a lot of kind of Jam! Fantastic. I feel cozy and homey here 🩷

I stayed two nights at Dirk place. place is very calm, clean with all the facilities & economical price. Dirk is very helpful to guided me nearby attractions. Breakfast is awesome with lot of choices with best quality. i would love to stay again in his place for my next Margaret river visit.

One of the best accommodation in Margaret River area. Homey, cozy, clean, thoughtfully designed, aroma therapy used was unforgettable. Working spa and spacious toilet. Complimentary breakfast provided was great even though you’ve to order hot cooked breakfast the night before, gives you a space to try all the great coffees and cafes around! Plenty of parking and the best of all is the landlord! So sad I have to leave. Definitely will come back

Stayed one night and enjoyed the plc, ambient and the breakfast lots. Great plc for star gazing , home made bread and farmed honey.

It feels like a bubble in nature, you birds, kangaroos. You have privacy in your room. It is a quiet and relaxing place. It is spotless, actually, it is cleaner than most hotels in Margaret Rivet Region. The owners are very lovely and always happy to give tips to look around. The breakfast is royal with free handmade bread and a lot of choices of fresh products. They are making honey which is excellent as well.

We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary by going away for 2 nights and had an awesome stay at Magaret River Bed and Breakfast.
It is quiet, had a beautiful clean room with an on suite bathroom with a jacuzzi type of bath.Very nice!

Lovely to see the birds through the windows while having breakfast!
Dirk was very knowledgable of the area and we loved his recommendations!

I’d give 10 rating for B&B. Amazing clean, beautiful place in the middle of forest cool and natural air. Lovely property and our host, Cathrine was very welcoming n friendly. Room, toilet n relaxing bed so tidy and comfortable. Breakfast in lounge with so many variety of bread n tea, coffee machine, fruits there was everything. We Love it❤will visit again. Also no need of photos from guest, place is exactly as in google photos, no scam. Thank you B&B😊 🙏

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Margaret River Bed and Breakfast in June 2023, checking in on Friday and leaving on Sunday. Nestled amongst kangaroos, black cockatoos, and the breathtaking Karri Forest, this charming retreat welcomed us with open arms. As we arrived, Dirk, the owner, warmly greeted us, accompanied by his loyal companion Bonnie, creating an immediate sense of hospitality and comfort. Dirk's invaluable recommendations for local restaurants and activities allowed us to make the most of our stay, including a memorable sunset viewing and dinner at the Common.

From the moment we stepped into the bed and breakfast's picturesque garden, we were transported to a tranquil oasis. Countless evenings were spent unwinding on the cozy patio just outside our room, immersed in the stunning forest surroundings and serenaded by the melodic chorus of birds.

Our accommodations were nothing short of impeccable. The room was meticulously clean, boasting crisp linens, fluffy towels, and a pristine ensuite bathroom. The attention to detail was evident, creating an instant sense of relaxation and contentment.

Each morning, we eagerly indulged in a gourmet breakfast feast that exceeded all expectations. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, perfectly complementing the delightful flavors of homemade bread and jam. Dirk's insightful local knowledge added an extra touch to our breakfast experiences, as he shared recommendations such as the scenic Wilyabrup Cliffs. Following his advice, we embarked on a mesmerizing walk and were rewarded with the breathtaking sight of dolphins gracefully surfing the swells—a truly magical encounter.
