Bushy Lake Chalets

We loved our stay here. Our cottage was absolutely gorgeous, Mel was so helpful. The location was perfect. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

The studio is perfect for a couple getting away from it all. Plenty of space and situated exactly between Margaret River and Prevelly. Quiet, comfortable, everything you need. Saw black cockatoos munching on the bottlebrushes right outside my window!

Extremely accommodating and friendly hosts. Two families occupied two chalets between Christmas and New Year. Both were clean, comfortable and well equipped. Convenient location in pleasant surroundings. Quality linen, towels, spacious rooms. Absolutely everything you need for an extended stay. Excellent value.

We stayed in the Kingfisher Spa Chalet and had a lovely time. Very clean and welcoming with a wood fire in the lounge. Great space for a large family, all the necessary appliances etc were available. The small spa was a real treat. My daughter loved the resident duck who’d pop up to the deck for a morning welcome! Highly recommend

Absolutely beautiful place, stayed in the ibis overlooking the lake. 5 minutes from town, 10 minutes from the beach, the chalet had everything we needed for a family and Rob and Mel were fantastic. Would definitely stay again

Had a lovely 3 night stay. The chalet was quite large, very clean, modern. The atmosphere of the property was just serene and so beautiful. The lake and surrounds were lovely. The owners were lovely and gave brilliant tourist advice. The chalets are close to town and to alot of attractions so it is is the perfect place to stay. This the best place i have stayed in Margaret River so far (and ive stayed in a few). Just perfect for a get away.

I highly recommend Bushy Lakes Chalets, a great place to relax and get away from it all. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The hosts Rob and Mel are very welcoming and have some great tips on what to do in the area. The chalet was immaculate with plenty of room for the family and the wood burner made it super cosy. It's in a perfect location within walking distance to both the beach and the centre of town. Our family has great memories of our stay at bushy Lakes and I I'm more than happy to recommend it as a place to stay in Margaret River.

The cleanest accommodation we have ever stayed in. The kitchen had everything you could need plus little extras like olive oil and paper towel. Sitting by the lake was so relaxing and our children loved following the ducks round. The fire place was perfection and we were provided ample wood. The spa bath was so decadent and being able to bathe while looking out at the lake was pretty special. We are already planning to come back next winter.

The Best in Margaret River!

We stayed 3 nights in the lovely Heron Studio Chalet. It is a great space and the spa was a luxury. Bushy Lakes Chalets have everything you could need for a relaxing getaway, are just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the town center, but are still close enough to get to the beach, restaurants and vineyards, or to a quick run to the supermarket if you want to make use of the fully equipped kitchen.

A friendly duck visited our door one morning, and there was multiple sightings of kangaroos at dawn and dusk.

I can't recommend this place enough!

Bushy Lake Chalets in Margaret River is a place we would visit over and over again. Great getaway, close to the beach and to the town. Whether you are after a quiet time, wine tours or mountain bike adventure, this place is the right base. Plenty of room for your vehicle, bikes etc. The bike/walking path is right across the road, if you wish to walk or cycle either to the beach or to the town (approx.5 km). The owners Rob and Mel are super friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this place.

This is the second year in a row that we have stayed in this wonderful location. It is now under new management and they are a lovely couple who were more than happy to have a chat and make sure everything was perfect for our stay. They are improving the area every day and have some wonderful new ideas that will make your stay even more enjoyable! The location is amazing and is only a $12 taxi fare from Margaret River and short drives to all major wineries, breweries and beaches. We did take photos but they are exactly the same as the website. What you see is definitely what you get.The internet has improved dramatically since we stayed last year, with no drop outs and very good speed for the location.
I have no problems in recommending people to stay here and enjoy everything that is Margaret River!

Immaculately presented chalets with every amenity you could desire. Lovely bushland setting near a beautiful lake and a place you could totally relax. Hosts Mel & Rob made us feel very welcome and so did the little wrens and the laughing kookaburras. Can't recommend this place too highly!

Lovely area with a small peaceful lake. Very clean chalets with nice little amenities. Spa bath was spotless. Cute little fire place for the winter months. Great privacy. Rob was wonderful, gave us great recommendations for local sites and eats, and was very friendly.

I have stayed at Bushy Lakes several times and every time was an absolute treat!
It is very centrally located, close to the town centre, beaches and numerous wineries, breweries and chocolate factories.
The family owners are very friendly, welcoming and always happy to assist in whatever way they can.
Bushy Lakes never fails to please for a romantic, luxurious and relaxing weekend in Margret River - a nice local wine enjoyed in the bath tub with views of the lake is perfect!

We had a terrific stay there. The area is peaceful and quiet- perfect fir a secluded getaway. Very highly recommended!

A blissful getaway that is very close to the main strip and other attractions and conveniences. The owners are absolutely wonderful and attentive.
The premises are extremely clean and well maintained. The amenities are fantastic and well stocked.
I will certainly be returning soon.

I have been here several times, and keep going back. The owners are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The chalets are clean and immaculate. If you love a romantic weekend away for you and your partner, choose the studio chalet... Spa, log fire, BBQ or even a chalet for the whole family.

We stayed here for 3 nights last week and was superb. Our chalet was right on the lake... The owner was more than helpful and the amenities the chalet provided was more than adequate. Very peaceful and relaxing and nearby margeret River town so that we could make the most of our time there. Highly recommend staying here if you want peace and quiet with the town on your doorstep of you don't.

I could not recommend Bushy lake chalets more. The setting is perfect, the chalets are very comfortable and well kept. The staff I dealt with went way beyond to make sure we were comfortable and we knew places to visit near by.
If you want to have a break in the market river area I would be very confident to say you won’t find a better place.
