Tuscany In Dalgety

Wanted to take my partner out somewhere special for an anniversary. Tuscany was great. Good food and drinks. Excellent service
There is even a little boutique shop with nick nacks

We had a great afternoon with our family at Tuscany. It has a really diverse range of cuisine, and all dishes were of the highest quality. We shared about 8 of their dishes among our family and experienced traditional Italian, Thai, Japanese and Indian all at the one venue! The owners were super friendly. It's about a 25 minute drive from Jindabyne where we were staying, we will definitely be back.

The best meal I have had in several years! Huge menu selection, all freshly cooked and the owners are just lovely.

Just enjoyed the most wonderful long lunch. Fantastic food, wine and hospitality in a tranquil setting just up the road from Dalgety. Look forward to visiting here again.

Fantastic food and even more wonderful staff

Bloody fantastic

Quality/flavours of food quite good (apart from luke warm pasta dish) but certainly overpriced. Quantities OK for sharing plates but you would not be happy if ordered as a main; e.g. Moroccan lamb and pulled pork dishes were plumped up with mixed salad greens, with not much content of focus ingredient.

If expecting Italian cuisine ("Tuscany") you may be disappointed as Italian dishes seem to be incidental to asian focus.

As only meals served are lunch Saturday & Sunday you would expect top marks on all counts. From the moment you walk in the door you get the impression the restaurant as just started trading - before they had everything organised and dug their long lost smiles out of a cupboard. One felt you were imposing on their day off to cook you a meal.

Ambience adds to the dining experience:
- the exterior of building needs a good tidy up to at least say "welcome"
- we visited on a clear bleak day. Thete was a pot belly stove in the room but, if it was even lit, there wasnt any heat coming out of it.

As visitors from interstate we were taken here by locals who were embarassed by this dining experience and will not be returning themselves or recommending to others.

The whole experience, literally, left us cold.
