Platypus Shoes

Had amazing customer service!! I was looking for a pair of reeboks but the store only had one side of the pair (missing the right side). After awhile of looking for the missing side, Sam kindly offered that the same pair of shoes could be delivered to my house without any charge because of the inconvenience. I was very satisfied with how he handled the situation.

Frequent visitor of this store, the Manager Kyle always has great energy and keeps the store refreshed and tidy.

I had the most amazing service from Kyle and Julia today. I went in not really knowing what I wanted and left with a banging pair of reeboks. Thank you guys. You are brilliant, warm and very attentive.

Popped in to check out the EOFY specials. We were approached by a staff member asking if we needed assistance right away. Shannon was super cheery and helpful. She knew her shoes and stock availability. Will definately be back.

Got a pair of Vans for my girl at a really good price, same pairs going for double the price at Vans outlet few doors down.

Incredible boots at amazing prices, I got a huge score whilst I was there on Timberlands. The staff were super helpful, incredibly friendly and hilarious to be around. If I could rate this higher I almost definitely would.

Staff aren't professional

Alright, situation was I was on sick leave last Friday and just went for a body massage in Belmont forum.

Being the closest store to me, I've popped in the Platypus store in Belmont forum and requested the refund. Unfortunately the staffs could not process any refund because apparently the purchase / receipt had nothing to do with 'her' store and that I have to go back to DFO for the refund. This hasn't been mentioned anywhere in the initial email.

I needed this pair of shoes for a graduation ceremony to attend last week and now with all this drama, I have ended up with a purchase with no shoes. Which was promised to sent out free of charge to my address LAST WEEK!!!

Please do not over-promise something when you guys cannot handle and fulfil. I can understand this current pandemic, shipments are delayed, but this purchase was made in-store and nothing related to online purchase. So it would have been simple to tell me that that specific pair of shoes was simply out of stock and I would have walked out the store and looked somewhere else.

Just had to drive to DFO right now for a refund despite not feeling well.

You guys need to fix your communication issue within your organisation for giving out such a poor customer service.

A big thanks to 'Gabriel' and team who finally helped out with the refund within couple of calls to find out what was going on. You guys deserve 5 stars but sorry for your organisation.

I bought a pair of shoes last month and I told the sales guy to double check and ensure that shoes are same as I can’t return it because I taking it to india for my father. It turns out the worse has happened, both the shoes have same size but the model is completely different.

I'm a regular DFO customer and every other store has staff that welcome customers and want to help with the sales of items except for Platypus. My friend and I walked into the store and we had a bet they wouldn't even acknowledge our presence and as expected the staff were too busy talking to each other behind the counter. I would high advise management look into this situation as the store is regularly messy and boxes are all over the place even when the store is completely empty.

Worst customer service ever. Asked for help in sizes for vans and 2 ppl standing at counter doing orders and talking rather then serving all the customers entering who needed assistance. We walked away and didn’t spend the $150 on shoes.
