I would highly recommend West deck timber restorations. Darragh and Paul, were very easy to work with, they have some great ideas and they work extremely hard.

We have signed up for their maintenance program to keep our deck in pristine condition. We're extremely pleased with the result.

My deck was looking dreadful, with broken boards and rotten timber. It was so bad we were looking at getting it ripped up and replaced for over $6000.
So glad we didn’t do that and that I found Darragh. He completely revamped the whole deck and pergola and made it look brand new. He had all the right equipment and didn’t leave any mess at all. Couldn’t be happier and I would reccomend him to anyone.

It was such a pleasure to have Darragh and Paul here. And they did an incredible job restoring our deck, cleaning our limestone and generally making the place look brand new. Darragh and Paul make a terrific team at West Deck Timber Restoration. They both transformed our Merbau and Blackbutt timber front deck and steps in ways that far exceeded our expectations - maybe not their expectations since they can visualise timber's potential if properly finished. Six years of unprofessional finishing sadly obscured the timber's natural grain and texture. Darragh and Paul stripped the timber to a raw state, brushed the timber to give it a supreme texture, and finished it with a bio-oil that tolerates the Australia's intense ultraviolet sunlight far better than any varnish/oil used in the past. This fine team also repaired a damaged Merbau railing. We intend using West Deck Timber Restoration for touch-up maintenance to ensure the beauty of the timber is preserved. You won't be disappointed with the great value for money you get with West Deck Timber Restoration.

At my partner's place: Had water damage inside. They replaced the damaged blackbutt boards then sanded back whole floor and coated with a good quality 2-part water based coating. Excellent service and attention to detail. It looks great, really brought out the natural colour and grain of the wood. See attached before and after photos.
Chose to use this company as we had already seen West Deck's work at parent's house where they used the same 2-part water based coating instead of either a cheap water coating (which reacts to dog saliva and other liquids) or a solvent based coating (which requires occupants to leave the house for an extended period).

I had Darragh come in and fix up a deck that was not done properly in the first instance. His professional, knowledge and care was second to none. He restored the deck to near new and I couldn't have been happier with the results. Lesson learnt from me is that I should have gone to Darragh in the first instance. Would have saved me a lot of hassle and money.

I recently had Darragh from West Deck Timber Restoration refurbish my patio. It hadn’t really been looked after the best over the last 17 years. His team was there for one day and the deck looks brand new. The colour pops. Worth every cent and he will come back and do another coat in a years time cheaper than I can do myself, accounting for time. Thanks mate love it.
