Grappa Ristorante e Bar

One word to describe this restaurant “spectacular”, the service Charlie & Izzy provided were one of the best experiences my friends and I have ever had. It’s to difficult to find hospitality and service to this standard nowadays. We will definitely be back time and time again. Highly recommended.

One of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to! The layout of the restaurant is very spacious and the Alfresco area is very relaxing and they allow pets as well.

All the pasta is hand-made and is cooked to perfection. I had the Tagliolini with WA crab meat, lemon, breadcrumbs, garlic, chilli, parsley and I can say it is one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had.

Other dishes that our table ordered were the mixed seafood grill, prosciutto pizza (with very generous serving of prosciutto) and a seafood risotto that was on the specials menu.

To finish we had a dessert sample plate where the chef selects 4 of the desserts on the menu.

Everyone in our party enjoyed all their food and were very satisfied. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and really add to the overall feel of the restaurant.

I highly recommend Grappa and we will be definite going back for dinner soon!

Came here for post baptism celebrations. Everything was amazing. Had the pasta, ravioli and woodfire pizzas. The ravioli and pasta with sausage and truffle was amazing. The service was very friendly and hospitable. Parking outside was scarce, however if you drive up a bit there’s heaps of parking around the block (alongside the park). Would definitely come again to this restaurant to try out the a la carte menu.

This is my favourite restaurant in Sydney. The food is absolutely delicious, and the menu has something for whatever mood your in. The staff are genuine, very friendly and are invested in you having the best experience possible. I cannot praise the restaurant enough!

We are so glad someone recommended this Italian restaurant to us! Beautiful large space, flavourful dishes that are beautifully seasoned, lots of attentive staff, sensational desserts! The standout was the calamari - unbelievable flavour and it was so tender!

By far the best restaurant I’ve had since moving back to Sydney from London. The food was fresh, delicious and tasty! I could not fault anything from start to finish. And they have outside balcony space for my dogs! Win for everybody!

The staff are so so lovely and the food is incredible! Great place to go for slower style lunch with incredible italian food. Lots of food options which was of flavour. Also great for sharing if you want to try a bit of everything.

Absolutely SUPERB in every way. The service was the best we have ever experienced at any restaurant. Super attentive and accomodating and so lovely with our children. The food was brought out quickly (and the children served first which is ideal), delicious and the portion sizes were super generous too.

Awesome experience. As a non-Italian I found the menu challenging but after a conversation with the owner Charlie, we made a decision. The food arrived quickly and was tastier than expected. Great service. Excellent food. Highly recommend.

Beautiful food and fantastic service.
Fast, knowledgeable and very good at what they do. It's suitable for all occasions and all attires. It's not as cheap as going to Coles, but it's well worth it.

Hidden gem in Sydney, beautiful restaurant, lovely food and even better service! Honestly haven’t received a welcoming environment like this even though it’s busy! I couldn’t even wait to finish my food to write this review.

The food was amazing! The pasta was exceptionally fresh. Each dish was a burst of authentic Italian flavours.
What made this dining experience even more special was the exceptional customer service.
A special mention goes out to the blonde girl who greeted us at the entrance and who seemed to be the floor manager. She went above and beyond for us.
A big shoutout to the entire team and we will visit again.

I’ve been eating here for over 10 years now and all I can say is this is the best family owned Italian restaurant in Sydney. The service is unparalleled, the food never disappoints. Perfect balance between fine dining and casual comfort. You must try this place!

A wonderful set menu experience for Valentine’s Day. Good food, quick service, friendly staff with lots of check-ins. Lovely ambience. Have also been here a couple of other times for birthday dinners and has always been a good experience. Would recommend.

Another really great dinner experience at Grappa. Staff are super friendly and happy, thank you Marta for your personalised service and Lily for event planning. I ordered my favourite Charlie Negroni and the bartender served it saying it’s the best in Sydney, he was right. All the meals were a standout but especially the Mancini Spaghetti with Lobster which is large enough to share, and the Tasmanian Scallops, yummy. The desserts were in an Easter theme so the Panna Cotta was in an Easter garden setting and the Tiramisu was in the shape of an egg. Very cool.

The woodfired pizza is excellent. I am pleased to see that they have a proper wood fire oven. Pizza is low and a bit crispy just like I love it. We tried the sausage/potato and feta/mushrooms/truffle oil were really nice. Staff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

Superb ambiance with amazing food. Every dish was a treat. Especially loved the calamari, fig wrapped in prosciutto and the main of truffle with sausage pasta and the house special pizza were absolutely delicious! Truly a great place to take visitors who are blown away by the liveliness. And the service was OUTSTANDING!

Wonderful atmosphere, delicious food and generous portions. Charlie really knows how to make his clientele feel welcome. We will be back
