Great team for years. They’ve been fantastic as the RAC Roadside Assistance in Hedland.

I’ve hired GBTK for repairing electrical lines to transportable buildings, as vehicle mechanics, auto sparky, and even getting keys out of locked cars.

They’re fast and friendly workers. I’ve been impressed with them every time I’ve needed their help.

Highly recommend this GBTK Automotive, we’ve got a generator that won’t start my partner rang around Hedland and no one would take a look at it he rang GBTK spoke to Brad he said bring it around. They fixed it and explained what was wrong with it! Very helpful. Great work to the team at GBTK 😊

Best car mechanic ever! After a bad experience with Ultra Tune in Darwin, Brad and his colleagues were amazing! They had time for us right away, and really listened to us and managed to explain everything we could do to keep our car in good condition. Absolutely recommend this place!

Brad was excellent and the team went above and beyond to find a way to fix a clutch problem. Getting the right parts up to Hedland takes time and is not their fault, but the result is well worth the wait and the customer service is excellent. Glad to see a team that takes pride in their work and solves problems for the customer

My Motorhome broke down at Pardoo Roadhouse WA. As I am in Racv Total Care, Rac contacted Adrian from GBTK who came to tow me back to Wedgefield WA. His calmness and professional approach to the situation calmed me down, I knew I was in good hands as I am a female travelling on my own.
He also guided me on what I needed to do and who to contact. The amazing diligent team that work for him are also to be commended.
The support and help the Team at GBTK had given me has been amazing especially Leigh whilst my Motorhome was in the workshop.
They are amazing company.

There are not enough stars above to give to these guys. Breaking down 300 kms from Port Hedland was stressful but the guys from GBTK were calming and assisted us to tow our Jeep and Caravan back to Port Hedland. They supplied a car for us to use as well and assisted with the diagnosis of our car and further assistance to ship the Jeep to Perth for work. All of the team we dealt with (Joseph, Clayton and Michael) were so kind and caring towards us and their immediate attention to our needs meant we could carry on with our holiday (with a rental 4WD). Jillian stopped and asked if she could help, so relieving for us unexpectedly stranded, broken down. We had issue with our Alternator (although brand-new from Broome). We did not know what could have been the problem. We manage to get to GBTK before or battery got completely flat. Adrian kindly helped us start the car and redirected us to his workshop team. The team was very welcoming and friendly. We appreciated the communication. They helped us right away. They took the time to explain to us what was going on. The wires were burned which prevented the battery to charge and also could have damaged the new alternator. They took the time to explain the process and gave us several options. They offered us a lift to the shopping center but we were also welcome to stay in the office with them.
We definitely recommend this place!

GBTK are the RAC agent for Port Hedland. They are medium sized operation in a large modern shed. When I was there they had 4 mechanics working 7 days a week, all sourced from the east coast. They were friendly, expert and helpful. They fixed my leaking fuel filter the same day and diagnosed and quoted me on a new SMF clutch kit and hydraulics which they were able to source and fit within a week! Very impressive. Yes they charge $176 per hour but this is Port Hedland! They are there for the money so pay them and be grateful that you can find such focused, quality mechanics in the far remote north west.

Arrived my Prado yesterday and was blown away with the customer service. My partner and I are from out of town, they were able to accommodate us with a next day booking for major service. Not only that they offered to drop us back into town instead of making us order a taxi. The Jillian and the team were very communicative and polite. Would highly recommend to anytime in headland or stopping through.

We were stuck with our boat on the side of the road near Pardoo. We had a lovely young man come out at 8pm and tow us. He was friendly, calm and shook our hands. He'd just flown in that morning from Europe too.
He led us 2 hours back to Port Hedland. He'd flash his lights to warn us if he'd seen kangaroos or cows on the side of the road ahead. Then was helpful changing our tyres the next morning. Brilliant service

Drove through port hedland not intending to stay but my car had other plans! Mark and dean helped me out and they were so lovely - fit me in on a busy day and were super super helpful getting me everything I needed to get back on the road and answer all my questions!!! Super fair and amazing.

Legends took my car in for a breakdown service on a Friday night and had it back up and running on a Sunday. Mind blown. Never could have imagined such a good outcome. You really need your car in a remote town like Hedland and GBTK got my wheels back on the road pronto. Very thankful.

I’ve only just moved here and randomly stumbled across the boys at GBTK. They have sorted every issue I’ve had with my vehicles with promt, meticulous service with second to none attitude! Total legends every person I’ve recommended to go there have all said they wouldn’t go anywhere else and neither will I. Love ya work legends!

I was broken down towing a caravan on the side of the road north of Port Hedland. GBTK are providers for the RAC. They were tasked with collecting us and our vehicles and brought out a loan car 134 km's out to us, towed the car back to there own workshop and organised the repair to my vehicle. Not to mention they dropped our caravan at the Blackrock Caravan Park for us. To Adrian, Joey, Ryan and the vehicle mechanic.(sorry didn't catch his name) Thank you so much.. You all went above and beyond. First class effort getting us back on the road.
