This place is divine. I have tried several places in terms of remedial massage and this one is the best!
My preferred therapists are Van and Douglas. They have great intuition in terms of pressure and which points of the body need extra care. I don't mention the knowledge as it is implied- these people help me understand my body better. As we all know in healthy body, healthy spirit! I always leave this place as if I were floating in the air.

Buddah Bar at Newtown is a serene spot with excellent staff. I see Caroline and she is very attentive. Sara on reception is very friendly and chatty, I enjoy our chats on many topics. A refreshing lady.

Visited twice when l was in Sydney, and had the remedial massage from Luke who is very knowledgeable and specific with his technique. He really helped release my tight traps, even after the first sessions. Highly recommended!
There's also a nice courtyard to relax before/after your treatment, and complimentary herbal tea and water is available.

I have received excellent remedial massage treatment from Van who is my main therapist at the Buddha Bar. He is able to tailor his massage to any presenting conditions on the day. The premises including the ambience is fabulous.

Buddha Bar was able to squeeze me in for a last minute massage after I pulled something in my neck. I unfortunately do not remember the name of my masseuse, but she was absolutely phenomenal. She made me feel welcome and comfortable. By the time my massage was finished, my neck felt amazing, as did the rest of my body. Will definitely be returning in the future.

It is always a great experience and a great massage regardless of who I see. Their services range from remedial massage to lymphatic massage to spinal flow and much more. About 4 massage beds in 4 different rooms, separated by walls and not just curtains; this creates a peaceful, quiet experience. There's also a gift shop, which includes various crystals, rocks, and essential oils. The variety of herbal tea in the waiting area, before or afterwards, is the cherry on top!

My favourite place for my favourite massage. I adore the Kahuna massage and the therapists are all amazing. Beautiful setting with a garden out the back and a shop at the front with lovely products. This place came highly recommended and it has never disappointed.

Her technique is impeccable, and her intuitive understanding of exactly where tension resides in your body is truly remarkable. Each treatment leaves me feeling weightless, as if I’m floating on a cloud of tranquility for days afterward..

One of the best massages I’ve ever had! Definitely the best massage in the inner west, located in Newtown.

Gonzalo is great, so gentle and caring, I was in Zen by the end. His Ayurvedic massage is so gentle yet effective. Seriously, I was floating toward the end, didn't know where I ended and space began.

This place is amazing, I felt like I was in Bali or Thailand, and is very calming.

Was feeling completely exhausted by work and decided to go to the Buddha Bar for the first time and try the Indian Head Massage & Foot Detox. I love the brief head massage one gets at my hairdresser, and how relaxed it makes me feel. Well, this was another level. An absolutely wonderfully calming, and stress releasing experience. Asha is the nicest and the most gifted healer I have ever met. Her abilities are too valuable, and is exactly what this world needs more of - she is truely one of a kind and I am so thankful for her! Everyone needs a massage from Asha! They will without a doubt be better for it!
