Australian Hotel Motel

Dropped in for a meal, we got the lunch special $20 burger and chips plus a drink, great value. The staff are friendly and make you feel at home. This is 1 of the best burgers I have ever had, Drop in, say hi, enjoy a meal.

One of the best meals we have ever had, the cheeseburger was next level and the barramundi incredible. Whatever they pay the chef, double it. Amazing. Could not recommend more.

Stayed there twice. Once in an ensuite room, and once with a shared bathroom. Both rooms were clean and comfortable, but it really needs more shared bathrooms, or at least access to the downstairs toilets.

Just had dinner in the Bistro, passing through to Melbourne.
Advertised $20 Rump on the a-frame out the front. ( didn't expect much at that price)
Absolutely beautiful, tender Rump, perfectly cooked, golden chips and yum salad. As good as any 5 star gastropub, but a third of the price. Each night has a different special. Worth the stopover. Bloody good service too.

We stopped off here for lunch while travelling through from Sydney to Albury & im so glad we did. We got the garlic prawn topped schnitty & a plain one & they were perfection. Best ever. Will definitely call in again next trip.

Absolutely amazing meal. Had the pan roasted barramundi, and it was easily in the top 10 meals i have ever eaten. Great balance of flavours and to top it off the service was quick and friendly. 10/10 👍👍👍

We stayed last night in a motel room : we were desperate after so many motels were booked out, we were happy with clean comfortable room i would suggest that extra pillows be provided and that is all, everything else was good. We also had a meal in the hotel great food fast service friendly staff and nice dining area ... definitely would recommend.. thank you Marcia and Dave

Really great Wed burger and beer special. Young Bartender suggested a lovely beer and the burger and fries were great. Not noisy and they were doing a nice business for mid week.

Fantastic counter lunch Roast Pork $15 excellent value, crackling was to die for.

This place is great the food was delicious and prompt service. Will definitely be back.

Popped in for lunch on the way back to Sydney and decided $15 burgers & a beer sounded like a good deal.

Great food .Had Lunch there over the past 2 Sundays and the steaks have been too shelf. Well done. But not sure whether a squealing child around the bar cuts the pub test !!!

The menu from the bistro was amazing. The steaks & parmy's were the best I've had in a while. The staff are super friendly and accommodating to your
every needs. The Aussie is a huge supporter of LIVE entertainment. Classic pub atmosphere.
Will frequent there more often. ★★★★★ from me!

Beautiful cooked Sunday Roast. Right size for me. Sam and Bar staff very attentive to detail. Pub very clean and modern. Bathrooms located just near Bistro.Plenty of parking.1000 stars as well

We popped in for a quick meal on the way to Sydney and were overwhelmed by how friendly the welcome was. We were persuaded to join trivia, given free cupcakes, activity packs for our toddler, had our dietary needs taken into account and felt we could relax as our toddler sang along and made a general mess. The food was good and staff exceptional, a really great find.

Had lunch there on Thursday January 16th and it was amazing! Every bit of food we saw them bring out I wanted to eat! My burger was to die for, chips were great, garlic bread was great. Both the girls that were working there was very friendly and helpful. Perfect place to stop for a feed if your ever in Yass.

Old style country pub - great service & a surprisingly wide menu choice at good prices. Food was fantastic.

Stopped here for lunch and was extremely pleasantly surprised. 2 for 1 Wednesday special was great to start but the food (carbonara and steak) were both amazing. Chips and sauce were both as good as I've had and prices even without the 2 for 1 are great!

Best pub meal I have had in ages. The meals were simply delicious. While my steak was served with a steak knife, a butter knife would have done just as well - perfectly moist and tender.

If travelling through Melbourne <-> Sydney do yourself the favour and pop in; Yass isn’t that far off the Hume; even perfect for a day trip from Sydney.
