We stopped at this free camping ground by the river on the way back to the Central Coast. It was lovely and quiet and everyone had their own little areas
It was a bit of a walk to the toilet as the bridge was too dangerous to walk across because of the flooding but that was okay in the light
We walked into town the next day for breakfast which was close by 👍🏽
Very pretty place

Have a great night camping by the river. Quiet spot close to the centre of Yass , short walk across the bridge.
Free and lots of spots to choose from around a base of a footy oval

Can be a bit boggy after good rain.

What a great free camp for a night or two. Must be self-contained. Plenty of spaces. Clean & tidy near the river.

Free campground on the river. Lots of locals walk in the morning. Easy walk for great coffee early am. Thank you to Yass Community for your hospitality.
