New owners have done wonders!
The food is great, drinks even better, and the staff were awesome.
They have a rooftop terrace, pool table, and food specials/happy hours every day.

Tuesday night, not too crowded but full enough for a great vibe. Three piece jazz group (guitar, double bass and sax) set the scene - great pieces, not overpowering. Friendly bar service, great cocktails, great roof top bar with city views. Recommend the tacos. Harks back to the 80s in Sydney where entertainment in bars was ubiquitous. We really need to support this sort of place in Sydney.

I hosted an event at ‘Different Drummer’ for 30 girls on Working Holidays and everything about this venue was AMAZING!

The owner Patrick was absolutely fabulous in accomodating our group. Every staff member that works there was so fabulous and friendly. A special shout out to our bartender Jacob, who smashed out so many cocktails for our girls and was so personable and easy going.

The venue itself is stunning! I would highly recommend going up to the rooftop which has insane views over the city.

They also had live music playing downstairs on a Tuesday night which was gave off such good vibes from the minute our girls walked in to the venue.

What a gem of a bar! I would highly recommend booking ‘Different Drummer’ and I’m very excited to see the renovations across the bar in the upcoming months!

Came here to have some food and a beer, expected to be typical mid standard pub/bar food but it has exceeded my expectations by far!!! Staff were so welcoming and just generally nice! The food was amazing! Best burger I’ve had in Sydney & Melbourne in the last 2 weeks I’ve been here! Prices are reasonable too! Highly recommend !!

Their rooftop terrace is such a hidden jem - you’ll have amazing views of the sunset in the City while sipping your cocktail. Sadly, no beer on tap, but live jazz downstairs was amazing

This place has been a local hangout for years. The staff are incredible and it's a low key gem for dinner. Their tacos, cauliflower wings and cheese burger hit all the spots! Great for coeliac and vegos too.

We absolutely loved it. We had a Cocktail there before taking a masterclass there with Goodradigbee distillers. The service, food, cocktails and atmosphere were excellent. Very generous bartender. We will definitely come back!

Enjoyed a solo dinner, which let myself, concentrate in every single thing in this place. Tried the Drummer Cheeseburger, and i never been that satisfied by a “house burger”. Coming with delicious fries (not sure, but probably with paprika). More than enough for a dinner. Last but not least: the welcoming!!!! The guys at the bar were smiling to me as soon as I got inside. Great! Keep it please. 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻

A little gem along Glebe Point Road. Fantastic cocktail list, I had a pisco sour, not many places in Sydney make these and fewer make them this well. The espresso martini seemed to be the star of the show though, my friends loved theirs.

Kind and knowledgeable bartenders make this unique venue worth the visit! Fries were delish, and vegan cheese burger was filling - and I adore the little friend cauliflower on top! This would be the perfect venue for a first date 💜 with three floors and an little outdoor padio, there are many cosy spots to hole up and talk with friends, enjoy live music or sneak in a smooch with a new flame 🔥

Love this small bar. Thursdays love music is fantastic. The cocktails and small eats are wonderful. Mambo Brown Trio we’re the best!!!! So amazing!!!! I can’t believe such talent is so accessible. Amazing place
