I phoned WorkSafeGEAR searching for specific PPE for an upcoming project. I spoke to Ajay who was incredibly helpful. He listened to the type of work I was undertaking and answered all my questions. The PPE he recommended is exactly what I was looking for (I had not been able to find PPE with this level of protection at any hardware stores). Thanks for your time and help Ajay.

Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the products I was buying able to answer my questions about them. I had a part need to be looked at under warranty and they were emailing the rep as I walked out the door with a timeframe of when it should be ready. Unlike other reviews I had bought an item that was out of stock and was informed before purchasing that it was on back order and what the ETA was for the part.

Great online supplier, had to request a tax invoice after an ebay purchase, which Karen promptly organised, promp, efficient

When looking for a Half piece Respirator and suitable filter, I found the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. A personalised fit and their knowledge of the right filters for my work situation made for a very pleasant experience.

Got there on a Saturday and found exactly what I was looking for with help from friendly staff. Looked around a few of the chain stores but this was the only store to stock it in Perth.

Happy to have found this store in my local surrounds. Good service from the staff member named Jesse. Will recommend to others. Just a shame I didn't know about these guys earlier. Could have saved a lot of hassle with another store that wasn't as helpful. My only recommendation is getting some good signage- this would help with store exposure as it seems to have quality gear and decent prices but I'm guessing local businesses and locals don't know your there.

Very good friendly service, had the latest 3M model RPE that wasn't easily found elsewhere. Good range by the look of it.

3 months on and I am still awaiting items from my order.

I have contacted the company multiple times only to be told they are awaiting supplier in a rude condescending reply.

My last contact was to request a refund as the items I was still waiting for indicated available on their website but hadn’t been sent to me. The company told me I would forgo 10% if I wanted a refund.

Poor service. Poor communication. I am happy to pay more for my items just so I don’t have to deal with these guys.

I left similar review for heightech as they same to be the same company.

I ordered a respirator mask on 27/03 - stock online said 13 left! I even called them beforehand and asked if that number was accurate - was told it was. I got an email 2 days later with an invoice. After that I was left wondering what had happened to the order.

I received the filter I ordered for the mask a few days ago with no word on the mask.
Since then I've had to try their live chat multiple times - after days of trying to get info from them - was told it's on back order! The original invoice I was sent on 29/03 did say this, but why would I check that? Their website said 13 available, and the person I spoke to on the phone had confirmed that was accurate. I had no reason to open the invoice before today. The order on their website made no mention of the mask being on backorder either, which is where I was getting my info from.

Now I'm left with no mask. They sent me the filter for the mask I ordered which is now useless without the mask.

My recommendation: AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. They are impossible to contact on the phone via worksafegear, and heighttech will not give you any order info over the phone.

This company thinks their website policy of "NO refunds" circumvents Australian consumer law, it doesn't. After 3 months of no ETA and no sign of the product ordered I asked several times for a refund, but they refused to even answer a simple question and instead kept pointing me to their no refund policy.
For those who find themselves in the same situation with this company, holding your money and refusing a refund, I hope this information will help.

Australian consumer law states "When a business accepts your payment for products or services they must supply them to you within the timeframe they have indicated or if no time was specified, within a reasonable time."

After calling the ACCC they informed me I am indeed eligible for a refund and recommended I contact my bank to apply for a credit card reversal, which was successful and fairly straight forward.

Either WorkSafeGEAR really doesn't understand Australian consumer law, or their business ethics are so bad they don't care about their customers rights. I hope this information helps other customers.
