Rottnest Express North Port Rous Head Ferry Terminal

The facilities at North Port are excellent, the staff at the ticketing are very accommodating to all your needs. There is a snack bar if you need a coffee or food snack. The boat crew are brilliant and happy to help out if you need assistance getting on or off the wonderful vessel or during the short voyage to Rotto

Great ferry service to Rottnest Island, with a good price value.
Parking for the whole day was 9$. Bike hire 30$ for one bike. Travel time is around 30 minutes.
Rottnest Island is very beautiful and worth a visit. Highly recommended

Really friendly staff who run an efficient service. They went above and beyond helping me and my boy, who had to take an unexpected trip back to Perth after he had an injury on the island. Thank you!

Carpark: only had a single working terminal, try the other if you're having issues.

Trip: Booked a return trip along with a bike hire. Found that the bike had issues so was able to give customer service a call and they were able to promptly organise an exchange with the Bike Hire shop on the island. Have to say that the bikes provided by REX only have three gears so don't do well as the island can get fairly hilly, and the bike I had been provided had issues with the gearing hub where it'd skip as you pedal. The Large Bike replacement though did very well and had 8 gears so was easier to find the right gear.

This ferry service is run like a well oiled machine.
The ferry was on time and clean.
The employees get everything on board quickly so the maintain a strict timetable.
The cost was competitive and they also have discounts for car clubs and entertainment books.
Our trip was smooth both ways but we were lucky to have magnificent weather even the it’s winter.
The pickup and drop off service in Rotto means you don’t have to drag your luggage to your accommodation.
There is also secure parking at Rous Head for $15 a day.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.

A big plus with this ferry terminal is that it has secure parking, where you are allowed to park long term, which is very convenient for overnight Rottnest Island stays. They’ve got an offer on for half price parking now - $6 a day (originally $12 a day). You can pay for parking online when purchasing your ferry tickets. I also like that this terminal is sheltered, where we can comfortably wait in line to get onto the ferry.

Friendly staff and great service! Highly recommend the sunset ferry and outside seats! The view is amazing!

What a great experience our family had with Rottnest Express!! From the moment we engaged with the booking team we knew that we were going to be looked after. The flexibility of timing was ideal. They were also able to help with our hire bikes (kids seats + kids trailers). The crew on board were amazing and a pleasure to deal with. This team is exceptional. Instructions are clear, movement of passengers and luggage smooth. Changing ferry times at last minute done with a smile - so easy, no stress. We're annual users and comment to each other everytime about what a "well oiled machine" this service is. Service being the highlight! 🤣

Excellent. The staff were fantastic. The Ferry had really good stabilisers, so it lessened the rocking around I have previously experienced. I did NOT experience any problems with seasickness which I have done in the past, even though there was a big swell running. Time taken for crossing exactly as promised and the fare was really good compared to the other ferry companies...Top Marks to Sea Link. Susan

Easy to get to for a drop off. Not a huge amount of parking, so if you're going to Rotto for a few days and aren't getting dropped off, you're probably better getting the train to B Shed. The bike situation is a bit chaotic, but the staff are awesome and will help you out. There's a big undercover area with a cafe if you've got a bit of a wait. Signs to get here are good, but as you travel past all the shipping containers you keep wondering if you're really going the right way. Just follow the road to the end and you'll see a big entrance.

Hats off to Rottnest Express for great times. The ferry over and back was pleasant, as were the staff. The Adventure Tour and Snorkel Tour in the afternoon were beyond expectation, particularly thanks to the hosts, Des and Ollie. Thanks guys for a great time!
