Sun Kwong

Have been eating at the Sun Kwong for 40 years, first in their restaurant and then in the food hall. The cooked on request meals are always excellent and the ready to go food in the bain marie is good.

Great food for a food hall dining venue. Good quality and reasonable price as well as friendly service. What more could you ask for from a good hall eatery.

Ordered spicy Kway Teow and Singapore fried bee hoon off back board menu. Didn’t take long before ready. Both dishes were perfectly cooked and very tasty and generous portions. Very nice Boxing Day lunch. We will be back. Thank you.

I just love rice noodles. I try them where ever I happen to be, both at home and on my travels.

Lucky for me my favorite happens to be just around the corner at Whitfords City's Sun Kwong.

Sun Kwong's version is called Singapore Mai Fun. It is always a generous serving with just the right ratios of ingredients and to me consistently tastes devine.

My wife enjoys their Fried Kway Teow that I also think is a very good dish.

I hartely recommend both these dishes cooked fresh and cost around $12. A friend says the Laska is good but avoid the bain Marie. Cooked fresh is the only way to go.

The Chillie Sauce they have as a condiment is delicious but be warned ... the heat can vary greatly.

The service is friendly and I always find fresh cooked is super fast.

I have been eating here regularly for over 7 years and its great. Aways the busiest vendor in the food court. Try the combination Laksa, its awseome!

We went to a food Sun Kwong at Whitford. Kway Teow was delicious 😋 and tasty...but a little a chilli 🌶

Like all food hall places, it can be hit and miss. On this occasion, my meal was freshly prepared and of good quality.

Used to love traveling all the way to Whitfords just to get their Satay Chicken Skewers. The chicken was not dry, and the sauce they made for it was super tasty!

Not sure if recipe has changed, or new owners as I haven't been here for a while. But today's skewers were just okay.

Would love to come back another day to try some more items on the menu!

Food looked great but was unfortunately tasteless, except for the unmistakable fishy backnote on everything. Disappointing.

The food was okay, but the amount or rice that gets put in is ridiculous, you spend close to $10 for just rice.
I won't be going back as I feel his taking advantage of people...
